@mulletman069 yea i was drunk when i posted that lol it just looked like the pipe was kinda smaller than a 250's... anyway nice bike man, i hope you still have it... i got a 1985 rm 250 i picked up for 500$ guy said it wouldnt start, it was just an extremely fouled plug lol so im gonna hold on to it for awhile
i had an 83 500 back in the day. drumbreaks are just deadly on a bike this fast. i hit a tree after swerving to miss a breeze block on the floor doin about 50mph broke my collerbone left arm and left leg.
u ajust it by your throttle i have a 83 rm250 all redone well mostly.theres a ajuster up by your throttle with makes it give it little gas to stay running
now i feel like an idiot for not reading everything sry man

its a 250 he said it twice if you knew about 2 strokes you would be able to tell by looking at the pipe by the jug

My 97 wouldn't idle after it warmed up and I could NOT fix it.I took it to Stricktly Dirt,All SET!!!It can be done! Nice 83!!

How is it that it will idle on it's own? The 83's don't have an idle set screw in the carb...
My 83 is virtually identical...but no idling. It dies as soon as you take your hand off the throttle...
Nice runner...hope you had it warmed up prior to the reving!
