The complete and utter JOY expressed here is so amazing. Jovial piano playing, joyous song, joyful singers. Love it, and keep coming back to it, this entertainment is better for the blood and heart than black coffee in the morning.

Neil really seems to having fun bangin' on that piano -- makes me wanna learn. The two guys look like they had a lot of fun doing the number. I heard this song for the first time on Classic Gold out of Britain. Definitely different -- the songs they would play on what seemed to me, a top 40 format. This song and "The Wichita Lineman" (or as one "presenter" put it, "that bloke on the telegraph pole"). Those two songs I just CANNOT imagine hearing on a top 40 station in America..
@stewartshedden No, I don't think he does. Neil is fantastic but by no means puts Mr. Christie in the shade....he has a great voice, and they both compliment each other.
Neil is doing a one man Show and still fills the house and keeps everyone entertained. What a composer and pianist, personality and that fabulous voice!
Another GREAT to check out is Anthony Newley. Not only did he write many hits for Sammy Davis Jr., but he was a great performer in his own right. Check out Hollywood Palace- Anthony Newley and Sammy Davis Jr. There is a part one and part two!
i'm so happy to hear that Neil Sedaka is still composing. he's the best singer for me. too bad that i started to like the classics a year ago. Now, i'm looking for albums of Neil Sedaka.
I enjoy Neil's voice a LOT better, but this was a nice duet. They complimented each other nicely. And what a beautiful upbeat song Amarillo is. A new love of mine. =]
Neil Sedaka took all the credit for his songs. My mom's Uncle ( Howard Greenfield wrote all his songs with him and he didnt get any credit after he died
I was at a concert of Neil's and he called Howard "The great Howard Greenfield". And, btw, shortly after Howard died, the radio station at Fordham University, which used to play oldies on Saturday night, was doing a Sedaka tribute, and I called them and said Howard had died recently, and it might be nice to mention him. They said that was a good idea, and they did talk about him. He certainly was very well known and respected in his profession.
Awesome!!!!!

Neil makes Tony look very average. Just a pity Neil's career was on a down when he wrote this otherwise this would have deservedly been a hit for him
