@mayank598 One thing not to forget is make sure the "end" of the coil "coincides" with the plane chosen for the cross-sectional area to be "swept". If they don't, it will not work. Make sure you drawing from the origin. Good luck all.
How would you do the same thing, but for a different shape. For example, two triangles overlapping each other, but it is still one piece, like a spring?
Hi krashlyn, the motion manager rebuilds every frame so you set line which is the height of the spring to be attached to two other parts in an assembly so that it updates when you move those parts. It will not look right until you play it back. Hope that helps! I'll be adding another one soon very similar so keep your eyes peeled! Thanks for watching!
Hej, great and simple movie, but for me there is one problem. If I have created the sweep I show the vertical sketch, but when I want to click on it and try to pull it, nothing happens. How can I make this sweep flexible?

Nice, before I would make a helical spiral and create the profile on the end and then sweep it, this is much faster, and easier to edit!

@mayank598 just do the same thing around a cylinder but use a triangle shape instead of a circle as your sweep profile.

Dont have option active "Swept".. why when do the same thing like on video??

@mexiko89 You need to have 2 separate sketches for the Sweep command to be available. Then you can do it.
