I live in Atlanta and while it may be the biggest, it's definitely not the most impressive. The facility lacks anything resembling a good shark tank and in the very short time it has been open (since 2005) they have lost five or more substantial fish (I'd say whale sharks qualify as substantial). I'm not bent out of shape about it on some hippie level. It's just another glaringly obvious memorial of Atlanta missing the mark. Our little city with so much potential can't seem to quit being lame.

some people will notice i comment a lot on fish......i really love aquariums lol but this one, now i really would be AMAZED to see whale sharks swimming above my head.............just wow, i mean, holy hell if that glass broke that would be FREAKY i would just freeze in terror.
