Totally agree about heart & soul, it's not the same with out my Richie, but it's still Bon Jovi and Phil X rocked. Not an easy task to fill in for the right hand man of almost 30 years. Richie Sambora is not sick. There is no get well hope you feel better garbage. He is a drunk in a rehab facility (again). This isn't the first time he has pulled this crap, if and when he comes back it wont be the last time.

Don't understand all this Sambora worship. Sure he's an excellent guitarist, but his style is not that distinctive, and any competent guitarist can play his parts. There are a ton of guitarists every bit as good as Sambora. He's not in the same league with guys like Joe Satriaini or Eddie Van Halen by any means.

@yourtubesteak the thing about richie though, he is the harmony of the band, he is a great singer and without his voice, the band's back voices sounds weird and not full, that's why many people love and worship richie look up ballad of the youth

Bon Jovi lost their rock edge as soon as the These Days tour ended. Since then it was downfall. By saying that, Phil X must be the best thing that has happened to this band in almost 15 years. No disrespect to Richie (he is one of the greatest) but he has lost stage energy and the passion to pursue new ways of soloing across the years. Phil X seems a great choice! He clearly rocks hard!!!!

What bothers me about Phil X filling in for Sambora is that I've seen a youtube video where Phil X was reviewing a Custom Gibson V-neck that was made for Richie for the Bounce tour, which Richie had signed. He seemed derogatory towards Sambora, so it just seems wrong that he should now have the good fortune of filling in for him. Also, whilst he is obviously a good guitarist, his playing here is not a patch on Sambora's.
