That was one of my first events in the car following the build, and I was getting a little valve bounce at high revs so put some better springs in for the next event.
The gearing was a bit out for the first corner, hence the gear change half way through and the uncertainty heading in - all about the learning process I guess!
Ive had 4xr2`s and they are still my favourite cars!. Nice video but ashame about the noise distortion.

Ahhhh, Valve bounce is a killer, did you use double valve springs to combat it ?

Really good, but you changed up a little early coming out of the 1st few corners, and lost speed.
Should have let the revs rise a little more too eeek the power out, especially as it's only a 1600 CVH
But saying that, you are a very good driver. Nice one mate.
