  • What cable did you use to connect?

  • Hey what cables you used to connect it to a moniter...

  • do you ge fan problems or overheating problems at all?

  • @silverkoss No ..the thing runs pretty much silent....fans only kick in under heavy use but can hardly be heard to be honest.

  • Yes....Ive done a bit of video editing with imovie...I use a go pro hero HD action cam and have edited 720p 60fps .MP4 files with no problems. The only problem is the importing and exporting of the files which takes the time.

Ive been using the air as my main machine since its release and its been fine ,runs everything ive thrown at it.

  • I may be crazy to ask but, have you tried any video/photo editing with the 11" air while attached to that monitor? If so, any huge lag? Thanks

  • @J273 Hey I have a Panasonic HD990 and it shoots full 1080p. Do you think I could edit homemade videos with the the newer dual core i7 13 inch macbook airs?

  • @CiaranVanDon Yes ive got the new 11" I7 model and edit 1080p video fine

  • @J273 Hey thanks for the reply think I will buy one, my camcorder is the Panasonic SD90 not HD990 (typo error) lol

  • @CiaranVanDon The new Airs are amazing machines...i bought the 2011 13" originally but preferred the portability of the 11"......either way you'll enjoy either machine

  • @J273 What cable did you use to connect? I have the newest MBA 11" with thunderbolt.

  • @martinpetts Ive got apples new i7 11" now and use apples dual link DVI adapter..Expensive but its the only way i know to run 2560x1600 resolution that the 30" monitor runs natively.
