@daricsoldar I'm working on my MBA. It'll cost about $15k for the degree. The cheapest Science-y degree I could find was an M.S. in engineering for $45k. Like I said, it's about cost. In the end, there's no knowing if a degree will help with employment. I'd rather only waste $15k on a degree that doesn't make me a penny.

I study engineering because it doesn't matter if you have an IQ of 300; you can't get an engineering job without at least a BS, and many times a professional engineer's license. It's what I want to do. If there are those who want to paint, write, whatever, let them do it. If they need the skills college gives them, they should go. But a degree shouldn't just be a piece of paper on the wall.

College is for suckers if your intention to go there to party and drift through. However, even if you play college like that, you can still come out the other side and find a mediocre job that doesn't suck so bad--you'll just have a lot of debt.
