Mitsubishi turbo engine is a pretty good combination but I think he modded that minivan some. I know they had Mitsu motors and tiny turbos back in the day.
Aluminum heads with a cast iron block means the the heating and cooling occur at different rates. Never with these engines allow an overheat or the heads will be warped. I've owned several of them in my 600, Lebaron and New Yorker with no problems at all.
yea im pretty sure that the gto was just joy riding. god damn people with no life. just cut urself if you ever get the idea to turbo a 90's minivan. it would prevent future embarassment.

I have often wondered about the Dodge Turbo engines as to how they held up. I know that with the diesel Mercedes, the engine will last 150,000 more miles without the Turbo-charger. So that right there tells you there is an awful lot of strain on engine parts with the Turbo.
@generalgruesbeck I have a 90 Voyager with a turbo and it has over 205K on the clock. I just replaced the head gasket, but other than that, its all holding up.
Just for those of you that want 105 Octane straight from the pump....Go to your local airport, community airports will sell it to you. It is what most all single and twin engine private aircraft use.
Thats the kind of SUV OJ Simpson had.

I'm running 20psi on my daytona turbo 2.5 engine that has 200k on it. Runs great :)
