@splkng It is not a set my friend, it is a creation of my own. Design, looks, functions, everything is my own and it took me quite a while to get it done...
Well, thanks to all for these kind words. It was so much fun building this trailer. Analyzing the real life mechanisms and transferring that information into LEGO is what I like so much...
Once again wonderfully realistically detailed and with just as cunning actuation as the real trailer.. and the truck pulling it isn't too shabby either :D
Hi buddy, great to see that you finished the Easyloader. It's amazing how good it works. So many stuff happening and still managed to keep the body as it should. This is insane. Congrats on a job well done!
Hi Ingmar, As the original manufacturer of the real Easyloader trailer I would like to congratulate you on an amazing model. Your attention to detail is fantastic and I could never have imagined this could be built from Lego. Well Done!
@Zblj1987 1969fred, who uploaded the video of the real trailer, wrote: "Actual load time is 2-1/2 minutes, same for unload.".
Well that goes for this model too, with batteries fully loaded 2-1/4 minutes, but after 3 or 4 times loading and unloading it is about 2-1/2 minutes... :-)
What I did was speed up the video to make it more interesting. Now the video is a little over one minute, else it would have been 5 and half...
I used a total of 4 motors, 2 in the tractor unit and 2 in the trailer. It is all powered with the battery box hidden behind the cabin of the truck. One IR Receiver in the the truck and one in the trailer.
@mahj Thanks so much buddy for the kind words. About 6 times, the fun part is that loading takes about the same time as it does with the real trailer...

@1969fred Wow, that is great to see that you as the original manufacturer noticed the model too. Thanks for leaving a note, that is much appreciated.
I am thinking on building a model of one of the other trailers Elphinstone builds too, who knows...

Aha! Finally you've finished the many-chromed-wheel-job! ;-)

@MennoGorter Chroming the wheels failed, but with this Metallic Silver wheels is looks cool too... :-)

@2LegoOrNot2Lego Then it stays 100% Lego at least, that's always the best. ;-)

Great work! Leave it up to you to cram functional details in a sweet-looking body. When loading, how much has the speed of the video been increased?
