In China, kung fu masters can leap off a 10-storey building and not get hurt .. the trick lies in their ability to curl their body into a ball shape and simply "roll away" upon impact .

I know because one of the masters told me he does it daily as he lives on top of Mount Wudang, the only way to go to town 1000 feet below at the foot of the mountain is to leap off the cliff. He says its a secret skill so no outsiders are allowed to see it..

people, you neednt take one activity and deem all participants to be scrutinized under one generality such as a figure head whos mastered the sport. Take time to understand even Dan Osman climbed 5.7s at some point. We all begin somewhere and this Kat is no begginer, forget the rating and look at the art of the free soloing sport and understand despite the rating the eminate tone of death surrounds any free solo despite the rating and just embrace the climbing community :) gj mate

Osman was bad ass for sure, but so was Reardon. Reardon soloed a lot harder stuff than Dano. Reardon also had the approval of John Bachar, the man who started it all! Soloing that is.
