Never heard from again in any other Star Fox game? Wasn't Andross the one who destroyed Cerinia? I mean, it all makes sense. He destroys the planet leaving only Krystal because he knows he can use her power to control the Krazoa spirits and revive himself. He uses Scales as a pawn by giving him power to threaten the planet resulting in a distress signal, knowing the two most likely to answer it are Krystal and Fox... Plus she recognizes him

They only had Krystal playable in the beginning of Adventures Dp... Also they incorporated the other Star Fox games in the final boss battle :3 But I'ma stfu cuz I'm rambling xD

Krystal's original co-star looked like Fox and Miyamoto realised this and noted that they needed a new Star Fox game at the time so Dinosaur Planet was scrapped and Star Fox Adventures was created with the same plot and some of the same devices (Prince Tricky being one) kept...Basically, it's Rare's fault by making the co-star look like Fox...now I'm rambling haha!
