  • Does anyone have the intro to the daily syndicated version "Solid Gold Hits"?

  • Damn I miss this show!

  • I remember this show from when I was in elementary school. Dionne Warwick could really sing back then.

  • I still wish they had cool variety shows like this on nowadays, theres just something...I dunno comfy about them kinda like you really can go home and enjoy yourself and tune into something for an hour and be completely entertained.

  • Agreed, something that is missing in the sea of "reality" tv shows.

  • @lbCharmed1 I totally agree with you 10000000000%

  • @InkedMommy Thanks for your continued support and returning to re-watch & make more comments! I appreciate that!!!!

  • this is awesome i just wish i had watched it growing up because i dont remember watching this as a kid but i agree they should have this out on dvd more then enough people would buy it i def would

  • I love anything Solid Gold-Keep up the good work

  • Thanks! With over 160 videos of Solid Gold posted, hopefully you'll have a lot to entertain you!

  • I am very impressed with how everything was spliced together--if i hadn't grown up watching solid gold, i would have thought that it was all the same song :-)

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Looking at this now, I am going to have to re-post a better quality version. This one is just was too pixelated!

  • We or at least myself are all grateful you posted this at all. The Quality doesn't matter :)

  • I remember all the words...Oop, I'm tellin my age let me shut up!

  • I won't say anything if you wont. ;-)

  • LOL!

  • Darcell and Nicole were my favorite dancers during the 8 year run.

  • Announcers: Robert W. Morgan (1980-1986), Charlie 'O Donnell (1986-1987), and John Harlin (1987-1988).

  • Thanks for revealing who the announcer was for Solid Gold in Concert. I had no clue who it was, when I checked IMDB - his name is not listed AND the only copy of SGiC I have has a station promo announcement covering over his name!! Thanks for solving my personal mystery!!

  • John Harlan was primarily a game show announcer, having announced on "Password" in the 1970's, "The $100,000 Name That Tune" in 1984-85, and as a substitute for Rod Roddy on "Press Your Luck."

  • another awesome video jeff.....keep up the great work....

  • Thanks Stacy! You're too kind! I get more and adventurous and more skilled each time. Heck another 30 years and I may eventually get it right!!

  • PERFECTION!!!! Thanks again Charmed!!!!!

  • Thanks! I appreciate your comments and ratings!! It is good to see others interested in what I once thought was my own personal "guilty pleasure"! Glad you are enjoying them!

  • Let me be the first to say how great this compilation is!!!

  • Thanks! I could've done alot better (with volume inconsistancies, but I am just learning how to use the WAV editor). But believe me from the 1st rough cut, this is gazillion times better! I learn something new everytime!
