I didn't think you were all that cynical in your last video; I guess that says something about my sense of humor, eh? Your willingness to reflect upon and objectively see your own POV with its inherent biases and subjectivity is what makes you such an excellent champion of intellectual honesty.
next time friend...control your rage issues ...the wake the f-ck up comment is out of hand and childish ...all seek a better life friend...no need to Attack someone because they are different than your opinion ...
oddly cynicism was considered an incredibly spiritual movement in it's own day. It was actually greedy materialists and snake oil salesmen that reversed the meaning because cynicism didn't have a lot of things you could sell to it.
I like some of Deepaks stuff Earl.In your last video Deepak ''like you'' also made the point that there is a difference between cynicism and scepticism. Yes you were definitely cynical and i was a little disappointed yet As usual when ever you resort to such things you then follow up with a retraction of sorts.Unlike others however that stuff up and then try to save face ,You couldn't really give a stuff what other people think.Instead you are just as happy to critique yourself as you do others.
Deepak is sincere about getting as much love, support, and MONEY as possible from naive westerners who can find everything Deepac talks about from sources that do not require paying out the big bucks for 'enlightenment'.
Baghead (OSHO) Deeppacker, the perfect fat boy (TM), all of these eastern evangelists make literally millions of dollars, live like kings of old, with palaces and fleets of luxury cars, airplanes, the whole bit, while teaching something quite the opposite of how they live.
@MacNutz2 con't the fact that these big preachers, eastern or western, make huge sums of money, evade taxes, run big corporations, and have life styles of the super wealthy, and tons of dirty secrets, tells me everything I need to know about their brand of salvation or spiritual 'enlightenment'.
Fraudulent, avarice, deceptive, as materialistic as hell while claiming the opposite.
You know, scum bags and sociopaths and the fools who enrich them. Enlightenment for sale, get yours while it lasts
My ex and I used to play an old Deepak tape to get my son to fall asleep. At 3 am, we would load him into his car seat, turn on Deepak, and he would be out in minutes. We played it so many times, we could recite along with Deepak, using indian accents. After we lost the tape in a move, we would stand over his crib and speak to him in Deepak's voice, and it still worked. It is one of the few good memories I have of the three of us together. So at least he is good for something. Thanks, Hairy.
I get criticised for being cynical or closed-minded for quickly dismissing claims too. I'm quick to become defensive when I hear a woo-woo keyword, like "spirit", "energy" (as in "energy field", not the kind that's measured in Joules), "over-unity", or "god". Maybe I watch too many debunking videos and my bullshit detector is over-sensitive. It's better than erring the other way, but when I appear closed-minded, any rational arguments I make may be discounted by others as being overly biased.

Never feel the need to apologize for railing against that turd, Earl. Being less detestable than the Ted Haggards of this world is no merit. Cheers!

Indian food is nasty, ESPECIALLY Keema. No wonder they're all starving over there.
