Denmark has chosen the f-35, but i'm not sure if they are going to buy them. The same for Holland, but the government is in discussion right know about all kinds of bullshit, for instance, they think the defense ministry hasnt told the right price. But i think its pretty sure that Holland will buy 2 test planes, most parties in the parliament dont have much problems with that. If Holland does agree to buy the planes, the delivery of over 80 of them should start in 2010.
Apparently, we're also looking into the JAS39 Grippen NG.
Personally, I believe the JAS39 to be the right plane for the RDAF, since it has all the capabilities we could possibly need, a proven record and most importantly of all, a known price. The fact that it's far cheaper than any of its competitors is also nice.
We haven't chosen any planes yet believe me. I am living on Skrydstrup airbase where the F-16 are, but yesterday i saw the F-18 did some practice around the area.

Its around 48 F16 left now since its was only the block 15 who could undergo the MLU program. With MLU program they should be as good as F16C Block 50+. The engine part is however not updated so extensive but in terms of software and weapons they are up to date
