Is that what Notifier voice-evac sounds like too? The school near my house is removing their Simplex 4100U voice-evac system (seen in one of my videos) in favor of a Notifier ONXY system, and unless they go with horn/strobes (which could very well happen), I would need to get used to a different voice-evac sound; plus my former college stopped using Faraday in favor of Notifier.
A firend of mine sent it to me. He got it from a website. IDK if it was fire-lite's or what. Fire-Lite is owned by Honeywell, and Honeywell owns numerous fire alarm companies, so I imgagine it was from some website of a company owned by Honeywell.
I'm pretty sure Silent-Knight and Fire-Lite both use the same voice-evac sounds because they are both owned by Honeywell. There was a Blockbuster near my college that had a Silent Knight system with SpectrAlerts, but the pulls were Fire-Lite BG-12s

A WOMEN ALARM?
phillies4100 2 years ago
Its the evac message, I guess they preffered a woman voice, or maybe only a woman was available to be recorded?

Womans voice keeps people calm

A female voice is also easier to interpret when it has been recorded.

The only thing the announcement didn't mention is "Do not use the elevators."

Isn't this alarm from Wheelock? Looks familar to me.
tpirman1982 2 years ago
The alarm is from Wheelock, but the evac message is from Fire-Lite.
weatherdan882002 2 years ago
@weatherdan882002 actually both wheelock and firelite makes the same kind of alarm.
briggsjos 1 year ago
@briggsjos actually, Wheelock manufactures them but Fire-Lite rebrands them as their own. A lot of companies do that with Wheelock alarms.
weatherdan882002 1 year ago
@weatherdan882002 ah yes thats what i meant. Isn't National time the biggest one in North America that re brands basically everything??
briggsjos 1 year ago
We have these, but the message is different. But The whoops are the same
