  • Is that what Notifier voice-evac sounds like too? The school near my house is removing their Simplex 4100U voice-evac system (seen in one of my videos) in favor of a Notifier ONXY system, and unless they go with horn/strobes (which could very well happen), I would need to get used to a different voice-evac sound; plus my former college stopped using Faraday in favor of Notifier.

  • where did u get the voice message from??

    and the tone??

  • whoops.

  • whoops

  • the vid i posted is how i want you to do it :)

  • cant you do a video w/ this same tone and no evacuation message

  • @lbrown8869 if you mean can I, then yes, I'll make it next weekend.

  • @lbrown8869 THANKS!!

  • Sounds like one of the New Zealand fire alarms, which is on YouTube, IIRC. LOL

  • could you give me a download link for this evac? plaese?

  • i think i will stat thanks

  • Much better than a loud buzzer

  • @scoreboardE yeah i couldnt agree more

  • cool

  • We had these at our school, but the whoop was quicker and there was no voice evac.

  • Its the evac message, I guess they preffered a woman voice, or maybe only a woman was available to be recorded?

  • Womans voice keeps people calm

  • A female voice is also easier to interpret when it has been recorded.

  • The only thing the announcement didn't mention is "Do not use the elevators."

  • The alarm is very loud

  • That is why you are able to adjust the volume on your computer

  • Isn't this alarm from Wheelock? Looks familar to me.

  • The alarm is from Wheelock, but the evac message is from Fire-Lite.

  • @weatherdan882002 actually both wheelock and firelite makes the same kind of alarm.

  • @briggsjos actually, Wheelock manufactures them but Fire-Lite rebrands them as their own. A lot of companies do that with Wheelock alarms.

  • @weatherdan882002 ah yes thats what i meant. Isn't National time the biggest one in North America that re brands basically everything??

  • We have these, but the message is different. But The whoops are the same

  • do you have simplex 4003 voice evac?

  • No.

  • Comment removed

  • @lbrown8869 actually, I have since gotten it.

  • @lbrown8869 show videos of it!!

  • where did u get this

  • The audio or the signal?

  • audio

  • A firend of mine sent it to me. He got it from a website. IDK if it was fire-lite's or what. Fire-Lite is owned by Honeywell, and Honeywell owns numerous fire alarm companies, so I imgagine it was from some website of a company owned by Honeywell.

  • i think it was silent knight. i was just on their website.

  • Silent knight is owned by honeywell.

  • wow!

  • ahh i remember this from 6th grade!! thanks for bringing back some good memories

  • au? this is FireLite? weird, something told me this was SK.

  • I'm pretty sure Silent-Knight and Fire-Lite both use the same voice-evac sounds because they are both owned by Honeywell. There was a Blockbuster near my college that had a Silent Knight system with SpectrAlerts, but the pulls were Fire-Lite BG-12s

  • No, it's a psychology book from my fall freshman semester.

  • is that your phisics (sp?) book? that the alarm is resting on ?

  • seizure time lol
