There's many sources and books written on the Misinformation PROPAGANDA perpetrated by the BUSH administration over the Jessica Lynch incident, I would recommend a relatively recent one 'Where Men Win Glory' by John Krakauer about the life of Pat Tillman the NFL star that left the NFL and went to fight for his country only to find out that the wars were completely based on lies

If you listen to the account from the hospital worker, he said that they tried to take her, and it was very secretive because he would lose his life if it was found out he did it. They did get her in the ambulance and the ambulance ended up getting shot at by American troops... they didn't know that she was in there. There was real danger that the American troops were dealing with.
