I've guided in North Texas, maybe some of these guys in the past. Most of these "hunters" are just killers, no true hunting to it. They fork over big money. Still, this is not hunting. Unfortunately, this type of "faux" sport is prevalent in Texas and has moved to my home state-Oklahoma. Bottom line: they pay big, have big egos, big mouths, and big heads. There are so few these days who want a fair chase. We're not all like these guys.
You should have just shot it while it was still in the trailer. That would have been just as sporting. Where's the challenge in shooting an animal that doesnt even move? And, even tho it didnt move, you still managed to hit it in the gut. Im not against hunting, but THAT wasnt hunting.
I cant stand you damn people. i am a very intense hunter and use the spot and stalk style hunting and got a bison in alberta with my bow at 27 yards. shooting one of these from a truck at 50 yards with basically a cannon is ruining the tradition of hunting. learn to respect the land and animal that you hunt.
i can't believe that this is still going on. Being a Native on the east, it really makes me sick to see this,because our fishing rights are declining because of money. when it comes time for my children to hunt and fish for their families there won't be much wildlife left. I'm just thinking that there is not much fish in the water can't be many buffalos on the plains
