Possibly because Nirvana intentionally went out of their way to stick to small clubs because they are more intimate and intense and also considering the kind of mentally challenged trashy audience that shows up for shows like that, more interested in a huge spectacle and theatrics than a good show. Furthermore, they played Rock in Rio which is larger. And Muse will barely be remembered 15 years from now, whereas Nirvana have already gone down as one the most influential bands of all time.

Matt Bellamy like I said before is a much more acomplished guitar player and singer than kurt ever could be, Kurt could never write stuff Matt has done.

Chris Wolstenholme has writtin some of the greatest bass riffs I have ever heard so manys times better than Krist Novoselic who is an all round forgetable bass player

No doubt Dave Ghrol is an amzing musician and drummer and I admit better than Dom Howard.

@Jolley2 Nirvana sold out ALOT of stadiums and arenas all the time. Pretty amazing for an authentic punk (mostly) band. And anyway the ability to sell out a staudium twice does not necessarily make something great or better, actually it very often doesn't.
