  • THEEY NAMED IT KINGS ISLAND BECAUSE OF THE KINGS PETERS CARTRIDGE POWDER FACTORY,HIS NAME IS PETER AND KINGS MILLS AND KINGS ISLAND IS NAMED AFTER HIM

  • @muddslingers513- You're on the right track. Kings Island is a combination name, partly deriving from the Kings Mills area and partly from Coney Island.

  • NOW I WENT THERE RECENTLY MIGHT PUT A VID UP,BUT STONES ARE CRACKED MOVED AND DIRT LOOKS FRESHLY DUG,I GO THERE AROUND MIDNIGHT OR 3,GHOST HOUR

  • This video reminds me of a cemetery among the grounds of the Indianapolis International airport. Small and unknown to many, but with growth and expansion they can't relocate the remains, so it is still there.

  • @pichurap21 I found stories of the haunting online somewhere, so who really knows about the validity, but if memory serves, she was seen around the White Water Canyon area. You may try doing an online search. :) Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

  • i wanna be buried at kinds island :)

  • HI this is Russ from "GHOSTS IN OHIO" Leaving you this message saying great video but yes it's really sad on how nobody is maintaining the Cemetery like they should. I would like for you to please check out our Channel when ever you get a chance if you are interested in hauntings in Ohio. Thanks!

  • There's news going around about a cemetery at Disneyland.

  • did the dead people pay for parking lol

  • OMG!!! that is so intresting i cant belevie it tho! wow

  • this is really cool.

i never knew that was there.

  • Wow, that's interesting. I never knew a cemetary was by the park. It's a shame some of the older stones have fallen though.

Makes one wonder if this place has anything to do with some of the supposed KI hauntings, especially the little girl that's seen.

  • Could be.

I think the name King refers to an old family name that may have owned property in the immediate area. Everything up there seems to be named after 'King': King's Island, Kings Mills, that Kings Auto Mall.

  • I believe I read at one time that where the park sits was an old farm. I didn't know if that was a family plot to the previous land owners or not.

Interesting video, nonetheless. Thanks for posting it! :)

  • One of the links in the description area of the video shows a map of the immediate area where Kings Island sits now, back in 1867, I believe.

On that map is a road which runs past the cemetary, which, on the map, is indicated by a small yellow square.

The road on that map, back in 1867, was a single lane dirt road which passed through the property. That same road is the same one that used to pass by Kings Island. Now, the road is used as an access road for employees.

  • @CincinnatiGifts I wonder who "Kings" is...

  • @KimmiKo12 PETER THAT OWNED THE POWDER FACTORY BEHIND IT
