another free energy freak. It takes more energy to make the hydrogen than he will get out of it. Of course we know that he is one of these morons who believe that the 12v power comes from nowhere.
@fido806 you want more negative plates than positive so you can produce more hydrogen than oxygen. -nn+nn- or -nnnn+nnnn- is a good starting point. the point of the neutral plates is to keep the amperage low if you don't have a controller.
I agree, the drycell I bought has 11 plates, only one positive and 2 negative
- n n n n + n n n n - configuration.. its only a 4" cube.. but puts out 1.5 litres at only 3 amps (12volt)
seems the less power = more hho because I'm getting less heat, and electrolysys is only effeciencient at 1.4 to 2 volts per plate gap .. weird. I say.. just weird
The solar charger on the roof is the key to this project, not "a whole other story".
There is no point with hydrogen generation if you don't use some smart source of energy, like sun. Of course the efficiency of the solar panel + the conversion to battery-stored energy + the conversion to hydrogen stored energy, means a lot of that solar power is wasted. But, hey, its free... Maybe you could do better if you could hook up the panel directly to the generator when its sunny.
@panzarw i belive u can use this in 2 ways one completely remove the air from the fuel/air mix and use hydrogen or two add hydrogen into the air of the fuel air mix so i believe a two stroke might work
KOH is the chemical symbol for sodium hydroxide (lye) that is used in toilet bowl cleaners and produces a large amount of hydrogen when mixed with water and combined with electircity. However the downfall of cracking water with sodium hyd. and elec. is that it draws double the amperage and becomes unstable easily, many explosions have occured with this expieriment. I ended with the baking soda!
Sorry, but KOH is Potassium Hydroxide not Sodium Hydroxide (Look it up). While Lye (Sodium Hydroxide NaOH) is good Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) is the best electrolyzer.
Also Baking soda is the worst thing to use because it is not a catalyst, but rather is consumed along with creating Carbon Monoxide(NaHCO3). Not to mention Baking soda will gunk up your system.
@capetide NaOH is sodium hydroxide.. KOH is Potassium Hydroxide...Both of which are called "Lye"... KOH comes from hard wood ash leeched with water, NaOH is made by the toliet bowl cleaning companies
@capetide koh = potassium hydroxide NaOH is sodium hydroxide, you dont mix either in a glass container unless you want a fragmentation grenade., if its heating up you got to much voltage on it, 1.48 volts PER + or - electonic neutral plates dont count, if you test the voltage between the plates you will see why its heating up..(excess voltage = heat) the amperage is controlled by a regulator.. get one.
I run my tiny 4" cube drycell at 5volts (3 wired plates) at 25 to 30 amps. no heat.
@capetide wish I could have warned ya before that, KOH is going to eat your electode's a lot less than baking soda, and it became "unstable" because your feeding to much power into it.. with KOH you require a lot less.. I run my 11 plate cell at 12 volts @2 amps..
but same production from baking soda at 5 to 7 amps....
and you absolutely need 316L Stainless plates.. 304 grade wil disintegrate in electrolysis 10x faster :-(
hope you get this. I really like your setup. I am just finishing a pan off on a 68. How has this rig been running since you filmed? I was also curious where I could find some details on the particular style of your generator. Again really like your rig. Love to send you some pix as well of the hooptie when it is al done.
Hey warjon, thanks for the comments! Could you stop back by and rerate video one of the series. I did the reedit after you pointed out the mistake and now it is tighter. I will do my next test using KOH and see how it works. I am looking for the best mileage I can get! Thanks again...capetide
wow..haha. 500 000 miles a gallon ! hahahaha
nice.

KOH IS NOT the chemical abbreviation for Sodium Hydroxide, it is NaOH = SODIUM
KOH IS the chemical abbreviation for Potassium Hydroxide, similar but not the same.

It is possible to run a car just on HHO, I have almost successfully done it, u can watch my first video just by clicking on pieterdavison

Hi! How hot is the temperature of the generator? how many degrees Celsius?

noooooo 12 volts.. less volts more amps = less heat mopre hho
1.48volts a plate dude amps as high as you can get em
Me102288 11 months ago
ok why do you only use 12 volts when you could use a converter to create 115 volts of power?

so do i need a 4 stroke engine with spark plugs?
its just i have a 2 stroke model engine that works on combustion.

@capetide Are you sure its sodium hydroxide? K = Potassium. That would make it potassium hydroxide. Sodium = Na. NaOH would be sodium hydroxide.

You really should use KOH instead of baking soda. You will produce more HHO gas and less CO2. The concentration should pull around 12A
Love the videos so far.
