  • @here2swear

Dear Self- Proclaimed Chairman of the 'Alien Welcoming Committee of India' ,

I salute your uncanny ability to naively believe a youtube username & use it to conclude on a person's geneology. Using this recognition method, I'm sure your email id is fertile ground for viral marketers.

Did you discover the Internet last week?

Anyway, I express my heartfelt gratitude in receiving your kind & Caps- On screaming permission to express my opinions if it makes you feel better.

  • WO,,, WO,,, '''DESPERATE LANGUAGE'''' ''''STUBBORN WALL-E CONTEXT'''' & ''''AN ANSWER THAT DOESN'T EVEN REACH NEAR TO THE TOPIC""" ha ha,,,, your kind is soooooooo predictable mam, it always has been too... AT-LEAST,YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST ONE. OK.........OK..... let's cut all that crap through and ask the relevant thing here, you know about the ''' AMARCHITHRA COMMENT'''' and lets leave it at that i think.......:)

  • @here2swear "...the relevant thing here, you know about the '''AMARCHITHRA COMMENT'''

"In my opinion Ravi Varma has distorted a lot that was Indian painting tradition - he does not even seem to possess the simple sensibilities of painting which even an illustrator has. He has not even done a good study of portraiture. His compositions are static and the colours employed are terrible. I do not consider him a painter." - G. Aravindan (Director) " REAL INDIAN", I guess, by your trite definition

  • @mariyam1985 OK ANYWAY, AGAIN IT'S MY NEED TO CUT ALL THE UNWANTED,IRRELEVANT CRAP YOU TRY TO THROW AT ME. Mam, as you may know, many many great artists from the past has been under real tight lenses for the flaws in their work, i think that's why people think they are great. Picasso - was not even recognised in the european world.

  • @here2swear

I share his opinion on Ravi Varma. And Yes, Santhosh Sivan definitely is overly loud on the camera, as I see it. Purely meant for one minute ads, and nowhere near as fluid as Madhu Ambat or Govind Nihlani.

So, hold your horses little chap and learn to ask your "relevant questions" first. At least it would save you from looking like a patronising dimwit trying to figure out gender and culture out of user IDs.

  • Mam, HAMSA DAMAYANTI, one of his most astonishing portraits which he drew in 1899, still in the Sri Chithra art gallery. This is my own opinion OK, pls dont become very judgmental. Damayanti, in the picture is very disproportionate, From the curve of her hip, to her toe looks really long for her body length. But still because of the beauty in the paints and mixing of the textures he takes everyone's attention to the Red sari and the gracious border, the swan and the lady's face. WOW.Great.

  • @here2swear "...AGAIN IT'S MY NEED TO CUT ALL THE UNWANTED,IRRELEVANT CRAP YOU TRY TO THROW AT ME."

Athu shari. Appo vadi prathiyayi. I don't remember me being the one who spewed the caps-on jingoistic irrelevance in the first place. So learn to chill.

"...many great artists from the past has been under real tight lenses for the flaws in their work, i think that's why people think they are great."

Such logic would imply the Silsila guy to be considered great "because of flaws".

    I Disagree.

  • @here2swear "Picasso - was not even recognised in the european world."

That's due to political prejudices against the iconoclast, & not due to any deficiency of craft. Quite different from Ravi Varma's case, of gross inability to bring hues and depict proper lighting effect in non-abstract painting. And of course, proportions flying out of the window.

"...because of the beauty in the paints and mixing of the textures"

I see ugliness in his colour & absolutely no texture-sense whatsoever.

  • @here2swear "...he takes everyone's attention to the Red sari and the gracious border, the swan and the lady's face. "

To completely bring a shocking focus to select landmarks like a sari & a totally non-interactive face while killing the net organic flow of expressive hues is precisely the stuff that's somewhat acceptable in cartoon illustration, but never in serious artwork, as I see it.

That's never denying your right to enjoy cartoon illustrations & shocking saris.

    Scream away. Yawn.

  • @mariyam1985 Yes, thank God i am right, it's a ''''SHE'''' for sure...damn but like 25--35 in age. Oh M**L***F

  • @here2swear Lol. Trying hard to pick your pieces up, flying off a tangent with naive conclusions when crushed in objective arguement. Keep trying. The idiocy is amusing. :)

  • @mariyam1985 SORRY CRASH....... long time no see..... where were we.... Had some life to live mariyam. How are you?
