They're mini excavators. They all pretty much dig the same, and they definitely look the same. Not worth running out and spending $60-70k on a new one for a tiny bit more picking power.
This is something caterpillar should've thought about beforehand, the stability of there machines. When our company bought the 303, 305, and 308 mini excavators that's the same problem we had when you to pick something up it feels like it's gonna flip over cause it's completely unstable. When I run one of these my concern is much weight can I handle over the side and once it does decide to lean a bit and sort just work with it. For someone with no experience they can flip it and cause fatality
