It's a good score, but I think on that level it's not the hardest thing to do to get an awesome score like that. I'd say getting over a million points on one of the other levels would be pretty incredible, but either way, it's still a very good score =D

How the hell does it not count? The game gives points based on how the ball was played. This counts fully.

Maybe you're only getting 4 powerups/characters because you're playing the free trial version? If you've purchased the full-on deluxe version, you should have 10 characters/powerups to choose from...??

there are different 'trial' versions of Peggle, some that limit the amount of time you can play, some that allow you to play indefinitely but only on a modest number of levels... Yes, you have to pay to get the whole experience, but IMHO it's worth it.... I'm now focused on clearing every peg from every level, after completing the 55-level Adventure Mode and 75-level Challenge Mode several times each... this game seemingly never gets boring!

It does seem like a lot for a shot with few orange pegs and no point multiplier via a powerup...but I think it's legit, and the reason it's so high scoring is that the purple peg was hit on the same ball that finished the level...every peg you hit on the last ball is worth a lot, and with the purple peg thrown in, the sky is pretty much the limit..!

I counted roughly 36 blue pegs after the last orange is hit, and at least 11 before that. Combine that with the 10k for hitting the purpe gives you at least 46,000 x 48 = 2,208,000.  And that's not counting the points scored for what was hit before the last orange.
