I met him couple of times. A great soul!. When he met Swami Chinmayananda in Bangalore airport sometime during 1988, it is said that they was a huge strom, all of a sudden. Imagine two great saints meeting. Interestingly when swami chinmayananda expressed his views to teach Geetha to the world, it was Swami Shivanadaji maharaj, who guided him to go to Gangotri and meet Tapovan maharaj. God comes in their avatar visiting this world, pehaps to remind us our duties. EXCELLENT VIDEO. Thank you.

No he left his body in september 2008,, the body was dropped in river ganges,himalayas.
