Tip: Before you do this level, go to the REPCONN Test Site first and get the Space suit there. It has Radiation resistance 40, so it will be a breeze going through this level.

a good place to get radaway is at the old morman fort from julie farkas but u have to do her quests and she will say we can now spare some supplies and u have the choice of fixer, stinpak, or radaway but u have to wait 24 hours to get some

Doing this right now and after 30 minutes of pissing around trying to figure out what to do I finally decided to look it up. I walked passed that clinic door about 20 times. Also, Boone is permanently unconscious under some ghouls I killed and Rex is stuck on the first floor growling at nothing.

I'm sure someone already posted this, but if you need extra RAD meds, Julie at Mormon Fort sells both Rad-X and RadAway as well as Stimpacks. Also, if you've gained positive reputation with The Followers, you will be able to buy supplies at a discounted cost.

i went in at level 9 and i am fucked because there are to many gaulds and they are to strong so they kill me and when i run out of the vault and get out to the mountains there are to many golden geckos so they also kill me so im pretty much screwed so my only option is to hide on top of objects and kill the gaulds and wait forever till another 1 comes

with a high medicine skill, and a good amount of rad-x, and radaway, you can kick this vault's ass without too much difficulty. it only took me two hours to conquer this entire vault, but it helped using a walkthrough :)

@thomascatlett555 You need to do the Brotherhood of Steel quest line. Get Veronica from the 188 trade post, then take her to Hidden Valley to get east access to the BoS base, then talk to the elder on level 2 to start the quest line :)

I just did this quest yesterday, not knowing what the hell the vault 34 is, is was part of a quest to find the rad. source of the quest hard day blues, so im in here, effin up some serious ghouls, about an hour later, i find myself in the most difficult position; my rad level is Rapidly and severely deadly, already at 922 out of 1,000! so, i am in the armory, stock all the weapons, guess what? to much weight! so, now, i pop some buffout, make it out alive, with 12 rad points left, fuckin amazed

I was planning on using 45 12ga rounds for my hunting shotgun,and 55 rounds for my trail carbine.I had 5 stimpacks,and 1 pulse grenade.So i did.When i came out,I had no stimpacks,2 injured limbs, 4 12ga rounds,and 18 bullets for my trail carbine.

GUYS I would seriously recomend that you have the wild wasteland perk on so you can get the ALIEN BLASTER and kill the ghouls with the VATS and blow through this vault (ONE SHOT KILL TO THE HEAD)

To add some additional info in order people can stop having trouble with this area,you can have your radiation permanently to +1 per second by taking the space suit from the ''Fly with me'' quest.Second.The keys you want to take are mostly found on dead technicians in the sunken areas.What can be tricky is to find the console which sucks out the water of those areas.
