  • I have done this trip numerous times being my ex wife was from Gary. I plan to do it again next year when my wife and my kids go to Minneapolis.

  • Nice stuff! I recognize the mills in Delta! Great to see you recorded IN Tech! I see the mills in Gary and East Chicago all the time, awesome to see it from a trains perspective! Sweet view of Kirk yard. Cant see that without tresspassing on the ground.

  • this video reminds me so much of my time at Elkhart's NYC Railroad Museum watching trains and looking at railroad history all at once. Nice EJE/IC lash up at 3:16. Looks like you caught some great stuff on your trip

  • @MilwaukeeSDman Yeah, I think it was a grade crossing incident. Actully on my trip to Chicago Metra ran a lot of those cars on certin lines with the words "Burlington" written on them. It sure was a neat thing to see
