  • @Kamberlyn he talks like a baby... -.-

  • @Tng321

I don't think he talks like a baby!

  • soooooooooooooooooo cool

  • stupid

  • dude that is so cool i wish icould make that(:

  • Also, what dis the touch sensor at the bottom for?

  • that's a cool way of doing it, If you had the racks on the shaft and a motor on the elevator itself, you might have (if you had geared the motor right) been able to do it with one motor or two (one on each side) instead of three. However, this method appears to work just as well and is also somewhat simpler.

  • Gaaah! Stop that stupid baby talk!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Tng321 He was 10. No shit it's going to be baby talk.

  • You are to young to have a YouTube account!!!!

  • Lol srry 0:49

  • Lol I just stoped at 0:45 and listen

  • great, but what about doors? could be your next project, couldn't it?

  • i could do it with one motor

  • umm,it looks like you're 10 :P

  • @AntivirusAV I was 10...4 years ago. However, I'm not so superficial as to re-upload it because my voice was high when I was 10 :P

  • @LegoFan970 its bcuz your mic and bcuz u where 10 :P

  • can it transfer shit? like if i take a dump in the elevator could you bring it to the top so i could be closer to it?

  • To everyone who's saying his voice is funny, you need more mental capacity. It awesome except... Where the door?

  • @TheXurol There's no door, but there are openings on the front and back for entering and exiting.

  • cool

  • interesting....

  • almost 40000 views and one comment wow

  • @Alexisguiter better you say something if you hav better voice. I think its awesome good work

  • Despite*

  • Try to make a traction elevator. And you speak very well english desipte your age.

  • How about you program this to work on it's own?

  • awesome good job no matter what any one may say you did a good job

  • You need a bell for it now...

  • dude dont critisize some one because he has a wierd voice, you have no gratitude towards over people, and his just a kid lol no need for the insults because he can build something you cant.

  • awesome¡¡¡¡

  • not bad but would be simpler using the classic string mechanism ant that way it you could leave an extra motor to use for door opening mechanism etc

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • hm...not bad...not bad at all....

  • its not as simple as it looks...

  • u sound like that kid from macolm in the middle

  • he sounds like deewey

  • The 1st thing I thought when I heard his voice.

  • u sound familiar do you happen to be from reno NV

  • Really nice job.

  • your smart to make an elevator when your young

  • i say the best thing to do is make a string being pulled upwards attached to the car

  • Yo can enter hamster?

  • you could do a video of a lego man in that elevator

  • or better you could make a whole lego mall and that could be the elevator if you decorate it check out my channelo I built a lego robot and it shows pics from the compitition

  • can this transfer hamsters?

  • not really, unless the hamster doesnt have a tail, because if the tail gets caught in the gears, it might get pulled off :(

there is another elevator on youtube that does, though, by wpstuurman :)

  • OH my god im so gonna get into this lego robotics thing :D. Fuck me..! If i get a touch sensor i can train the damn hamster to use its own elevator LOL :D.

  • @LegoFan970

Your realy a kid arent you, those motors arent strong enough to cut its tail off, not even when you use ALOT of cogs. the hamster might have pain and some painfull looking stuff on its tail.. but it wont come of that easy.

  • @rotjesenmatjes The motors aren't strong enough to pull it off simply by having it get caught in the structure as the elevator rises, but I think you're underestimating how damaging the gears can be. Also, I've never owned a hamster, so how should I know? In any case, it wouldn't be a pleasant experience, having had my finger caught on occasion.

And yes, I am a kid - I'm 14, and I was 10 when this video was taken. Is there a problem?

  • BAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

  • alexnader epstein ur a nerd (cyberbulying)

    but a GENIUS too ;)

PS ur not a nerd u just go to hunter and get straight As (but not a nerrd!)

  • that is amazing! 5/5

  • cool

  • super multiplied by 3 cool

  • holy crap! are you dewey from malcolm in the middle? xx

  • lol XD

  • I forgot 5 stars :)

  • great work !!

  • geez it looks like that took u a long time to build. kinda pointless if you ask me.......but i remember when i was younger i used to make stuff like this just because i didnt have anything else to do and it seemed fun at the time.

    goood work!

  • awesome elevator!! it's so smooth and nowhere near as noisy as the other elevators. and it's fast!!

  • thanks!

  • It's way quieter than regular elevators too! I only wish this was the elevators at where I work.

  • why is it so hard to make an elevator , i wanna explain how to simply make an elevator but i cant in english =P

  • It actually isn't very hard to make a cable elevator. It is only hard to make an elevator that uses the power system (racks on the cab, gears on the chute) that mine does. An ordinary cable elevator is easy to make and you can find some on youtube (i just couldnt do that because i didnt have any string)

  • understandeble =) nice elevator =)

  • @LegoFan970 Really? i wish someone made a tutorial XO

  • holy crap! that is so amazing!!!!! was it hard to make???

  • First and probably last to use the rack idea, theirs nothing wrong with cables and counterweights. Your design is overcomplex, but it's still good. I probably learn somthing from every model I make.

    Keep building!

  • hey rot watch my videos ill sound funny to u cuz im canadian lol

  • nice man

  • Great project. Now go make a spider robot :).

  • CUTE!

    (i mean your voice :D)

im from holland so im not used to hear amirican child voices

    ^_^

(btw im not gay 0_o )

  • eres un marica de mierda maldito presumido dame tus legos o veras

  • nice, im gonna steal it. :P

  • give the kid a break you couldnt do better dumbass

  • leblancjhny2... FUCK OFF! You couldn't do better your probably fat from watching youtube all day!

  • how do minifig get in? where is the door?

  • there's no door, but minifig can go in through entrances on each floor.

  • cool! do u hav mindstorms nxt?

  • yup! i'm using it for my next (no pun intended) project

  • its cool

  • I thought it was awesome!im a good lego builder like you but ur like the best

  • thanks!

  • IT's prety simple, I mean that's what those "racks" as you called them are made for, so nothing new.

  • well, thats true. the main point of this design is that usually in elevators the racks are on the outside of the chute, but i put them on the cab to make it lighter (if the racks are on the cab, the cab doesn't need a motor)

  • nice job now i want to make one lol

  • genius!

  • make me one please i need one for my hampster

  • i've got some instruction making software, but i don't know how to use it yet. i'll try though!

  • Probably not Hamster safe (Hampster rated).

  • No, nothing with a tail should go in there :). if you get anything caught in the gears, it is PAINFUL (I know from experience, i had red marks on my finger for the rest of the day)

  • cool u sound like dewie from malcolm in the middle lol

  • but this is not the first i and my friends already make it a year ago but we not too like it so,we not make the elevator again instead some robots

  • really? i didn't know. what did yours look like? how did it work?

  • thats cool, you would be a good engineer.

  • thank you so mutch for the idea. i have all ways tryed to use ropes and pullys but this is so simple. i think you should use one moter for the up and down and the rest for a door. thank you its amazing

  • cool

  • Are a geek??? Ha Ha

  • sort of lol

  • excellent work, Lego design AND narration! I think you're going to do wonders with your new NXT set... keep sharing your ideas - Thanks

  • Thanks!

  • you should get nxt mindstorm

  • ya i have it! im planning to use it in my next project. It's amazing.

  • Rock on....I just built a knex elevator

  • cool!

  • K'nex sucks!

  • Thanks for the support!

  • yo lil kid, u rock.keep up the amazing work

  • Boy, pretty nice work!. Keep working!. All this especience is going to be very usefully for you on university!!.

  • thaks! lol

  • that is amazing

  • nice job on that elevator. I used to have one of these but it burnt out. :(

  • yeah, nice job, alexander!

  • Thanks!

  • thanks!!!

  • you sound like u are 10 and u probaly didnt make it

  • As a matter of fact, that is my approximate age. I did, however, make the elevator. It took me several months.

  • how old r u? you sound awful young to be building something so complex. OMG...

  • Wow! This is AMAZING!!! Nice work on the elevator man. Please keep on being creative, this is very very impressive.
