I remember crusing the LSD many times when I lived in Chicago. I miss my hometown, especially at Christmas time. The most relaxing route in Chi-town is Lake Shor Drive, from Hollywood to 67th Street.

Oh well all i know is that Chicago is catching up to LA at least in film production.6 tv series filming right now in the city, plus they made out of movies in these last two year.Chicago is building the biggest filming studio outside of LA! Transformers 3 startes filming in june/july...

Yeah, if you can get past the corruption, the politicians, high ass taxes, these fucked up parking rates and parking meters that don't work.Chicago is the bomb. I hate the season is changing now. Took a bike ride north on the trail up to Belmont Harbor and it's the most peaceful thing to do.

Very peaceful. At around 10 sec., look at the curved face building on the right. That is 1150 LSD and is right on the corner of the inner drive and Oak Street. My mom and step-dad lived thier when I was at the Art Institute in the 70's. Great times to be alive. Thanks.

i miss living in chicago. i lived in chicago my whole life until i moved to louisville kentucky(a small city that's 3 to 4 hours away from chicago). i'm moving back to chicago next year. chicago is the best city ever.

lol very 1970's? How exactly? Chicago is not bigger - ONE subway line in NYC (the 4,5,6 trains) hold ALL of Chicago, Boston and DC's rail travel. Thats not our entire system that is ONE LINE. Penn Station is the largest train station in North America (that isnt Grand Central that big one you see on tv). Grittier? OK, it is NOT grittier dude. Come here and see. And how is it bolder? I doubt I'd find a Bleeker St. anywhere in Chicago. Have pride in Chicago, but don't trash MY city.

I have to agree with you. "Slamspin" is bing ridiculous. I love Chicago, but NYC has 3X the people and is arguably the most important city in the world. NYC is grittier (no alleys to hide the trash, graffitti tolerated as "art", unlike in downtown Chicago), and NYC is the very definition of a "bold" city. Chicago is more laid back. Chicago does have an edge in architectural beauty though.

Chicago is the cleaner and friendlier city to live in, but NYC is the better place to visit for a week.
