Goddamn Paul Gilbert fuckin rocks so hard. Racer X kicked so much ass. I love "Scarified" and this is a great live performance of it. That bassist is pretty nasty too.

On a side note I think Scarified could be a track on any F-Zero game, its got that crazy fast sort of philosophy.

When I see emotion, it's giving off a feeling for the player and listener. Listening to this live version of scarified, I feel pumped and exhilarated. When listening to a song like Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd, that makes me sad. There are different emotions than just sad. You kind of just treat it that way man.

I completely disagree on the 'lack of emotion' arguments. Simply cause someone doesn't express it by bending and vibrato doesn't mean it isn't there. Try classical music for an example, it's expressed through a global feel, not vibratoing the heck out of a note.

I actually like his skills, but for me it lacks a bit of emotion. And also there are a lot of two guitar lead patterns, but the bass guitar stays a bit too much in the shadow.
