  • How are you able to get an even exposure when shooting into the sunlight? Are you using a flash(fill flash)?

  • Is she also filming under water ???

  • was it a d300s?

  • I'm like a little boy in a lolly shop. Which one should i fucken buy?? 7d, d300s blah blah blah

  • Two retarded Canon users have viewed this film... ; )

Seriously, this is obviously one of the better Adventure Sports clips I've ever seen!

    / davidwiberg dot c o m

  • nice shots good choice of music sound epic

  • How does he do the slow mo at the start! ARGHH!

  • @SHORTASS112 high shutter speed, most likely being filmed at 60p and they probably used something like twixtor or frame blending in after effects. Hope that helped. GO CANON!!

  • @YapSnapProductions Yeah I guessed thats what they did, and nah im alright with my Nikon :)

  • @YapSnapProductions The D300s shoots at 24 fps. I think that the slow mo was filmed with another camcorder.

  • @YapSnapProductions the camera only does 24p max.

  • May i know which lens u used the most ?

Is 24-70mm F/2.8 was part of them?

  • edited on? also isnt a conno 7d better than this?

  • great vid BUT,,, dont forget to TURN OFF THE AUTO EXPOSURE next time! hella UNpro when it ticks like that.......

  • Filmed On a d300S.... No.. :P?

  • Amazed ... Is all I can say ...

  • CAUTION: this is professional not just made by some little kid. dont imagine you could make a vid like this with a normal d300s .

awe vid though, 5 stars from me

    p.s: what lenses are used?

  • @polithans 10-24mm i think was the most used, i have one and they are incredible!

  • Sweeeeet. Wish wifey would let me buy the D300s

  • could someone tell me what lens is used in this video?

  • NIKON RULES

  • Looks awesome. (y)

  • Great post!!!

Did you use some others cameras??? The POV shots are just perfect!gopro?countour?

  • How were the underwater shots done? I was wondering what they used if you know.

  • @SourceofDugan the D300s can be rained on as well as some of their lenses. But they probably used a water housing.

  • Respond to this video... maybe a waterproof housing, they are worth about 3k usd

  • vary nice video! bad ass indeed.

  • Double awesome video and photos!

  • awesome camera..i saw the behind the scenes of this video it really was the d300.

  • @Lai829 it couldnt of been the d300 you dumb mother fucker, because it dosent even have video

  • @ithree6mafia I meant 300s. my bad.. no need to call me dumb mother fucker u dont even know me. gosh

  • awesome!

  • I hope, that the Nikon D700 replacement will include slow motion.

  • Fake, this is not the D300s

  • @TVAutoGuia sorry dude but with a few thousand dollar lenses you can accomplish anything with a nikon d5000, d300, d90, d7000 and d3... if this was fake Nikon would be advertising fraud persuasion

  • these lenses can be rented for $50 a week - really no big deal to get results like this

  • The river where they are kayaking at is River Verzasca, Valle Verzasca, Tessin, Switzerland. Kayakers: Phil Hausamann, Simon Hirter and Marc Gacond.

  • video is great but dont be fooled for that

they use helicopter and very artistic professional snow boarders and stuff

used manual focus with great GREAT wide angle lenses.. cost twice more than the camera.. very nice music and video editing also!

do not forget that this video is profesionally recorded and edited

dont you think you can record movies like that

  • which lenses been used for this video?

  • bof bof la video, en revanche les photos :)

  • Even with a few thousand dollars of lenses, the D300s still is much more cost effective, than much more expensive professional HD camcorders made by Sony or Panasonic. To me that's the whole beauty of the concept: shooting video with a suite of wonderful lenses developed over generations, at the fraction of the cost. If you're just going to whack a mid-range zoom kit lens on the front, you may as well go and buy the latest Sony HDV whatever cam.

As usual, the glass is everything.

  • Great quality images, video.

  • i like the quality but then I realized that nikon put on a few thousand dollar lenses

  • @Branman1994 - just rent lenses - don't be a baby

  • @Branman1994

Of course they did, they aren't gonna go out and shoot stuff like this with an 18-55 kit lens...

  • @Branman1994

Lenses make the quality (actually the photographer does that ;-) haha0 but light hits the lens first, that's where the difference is. Colour, Contrast, Sharpness, Coatings, etc...

  • @Branman1994 i guarantee you, you could replicate that quality with some of the cheaper lenses out there, and a little bit of video editing.

you would be surprised how awesome you can make amateurish videos look, with a little bit of video editing

  • @Branman1994 It really isn't just the lens, you can put lenses worth less than 300 dollars and your videos can look as good as this since you are only seeing a youtube video. Those lenses would make a difference if you were looking at the original video. Don't get dissapointed by knowing they put 2000 dollar lenses on this.

  • @erickpro yu mean sir hes using like a 70-200mm,,if i'll used that one,,mah videos can be like this...

  • @Branman1994 What do you expect? A D300 with a 18-55?

  • Love the video! I was hoping you could help me with some advise. I shot a video clip of a cheer competition a couple of weeks ago, and it was very choppy. Being a fast moving sport do have suggestions on setting. I used my new Nikon 300s, with a 70-300 lens and used a sandisk III Extreme card. Any help on setting etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  • Can you single out pictures from the movies you make? I t looks like that on this clip, the dirtbikes. I didn`t think that was posible. If so, how?

  • @janerikhermansen

yes it is possible, the d300s records movies at 24fps at high definition. therfore you can get images from the movie that look sharp. it is still safer to use stills if you want still pictures tho, i mean 8fps (with battery grip) isnt too bad for this stuff ;D

  • Did you put the D300s in an underwater housing when you shot while the camera was mounted on the front of the kayak? If so what housing?

  • look at you, you bad ass

  • Is this video captured by Nikon D300s as it is with out any special effects? How much weights the 5 minutes of video. If i dont have a stereo micraphone which is connected to d300s the audio will be recording in a mono mode?

  • @matchaya

snow acts like a big ass reflector - I highly, highly, highly doubt any continuous lights were used (where you are you going to plug them in to? battery packs would run out in a few minutes pushing that kind of light)

  • Great video, is indead done professional looking at the VFX work at that helicopter taking off.

  • notevole ...

  • Great vid, but I think its a huge budget professional production job - but, using the D300s as videocam. How else can you describe the lighting to the bottomside of the snowboard at 0:29, against the sun. I got my D300s a week ago to replace my D70. Awesome camera; but it cant do videos like this unless you do a the whole "lighting" works. Kinda misleading advertisement if u ask me. Nonetheless, I'm having a blast with the D300s, with a 12-24DX on it.

  • @matchaya

the only way to secribe the lightting on the bottom of the snowboard is that the snow around reflects light, acting like a big mirror of circular relfector used in sudioi photography, as the snow is white, and made up of crustals they reflect the light all around, resulting in light iluminating the underside of the board :)

the only other explenation i can think of is a super speedlight was used to illuminate it.

    hope this helps :)

  • Its not a misleading ad. Its just an ad..

When you see Ferro Roche chocolate ad of a guy sat on a huge leather sofa watching a 100 inch TV with his perfect leggy blonde bombshell girlfriend do you take the chocolates back to Walmart to complain you didn't get the girl and the blow job?

    of course not..

  • oh my goodness this camera is AMAZING. and the photographer did EXCELLENT work!!!!!

  • Amazing video - i love it so much....

  • fantastic!

  • nikkor 14 24 f/2.8 ?

  • Wich lens was used for this vid? And in wich program was it edited?

  • I wanted to buy D90 now i have changed my Mind

  • awesome!!!

  • nice,nice,nice

  • mmm i love the d300s, i want it so bad lol...

this is an awesome vid, i hav watched it a few times now, i reckon the photo at 37 sec is awsome, :),,,

  • Oh my god... you didn't actually get the camera wet, did you?

  • you need to get the camera dirty to get great shots. if you baby it and leave it to collect dust, then you'll never get those great shots.

    haha just my opinion thou.

  • It would have been in a waterproof case underwater, but it's also built with more seal so it's more resistant to dirt and moisture.

  • What a wonderful places and what an amazing shots... Thank you for sharin' this gorgeous video with us.

    Five Stars
