  • I hope shes cutting herself right now

  • This song might be instructive. My parents' generation thought rock n' roll music sounded like noise. I couldn't understand their attitude. Now I hear this Zombies song for the first time. And altho I don't exactly feel that this song is noise, it comes close. I can imagine myself hating rock and roll when I listen to it. I can perhaps finally glimpse what my parents experienced.

  • reminds me of I should have known Better by the Beatles :O dunno why. not saying they ripped off. just sound similar haha

  • Who knew the B side of a record could be so good. Love to hear Argent moaning.

  • hahahaah i lovee how it sounds likee their moaning when they say you make me feel good

  • @kaitlinn151

Yeah, kaitlinn. When the song came out (I was 14) I loved that sexy moan. Without that sound I might not have played the 45 RPM vinyl record over and over and over again. The other side was the hit side, but I preferred this side. I hadn't heard it for decades until just now. Hey, where are my estrogen pills? (reminiscent chuckle)

  • I love this

  • My favourite Zombie`s track, reminds me of the 1960`s when i used to play it on the Juke Box in the pub in town.

  • The more I listen to this band, the more I think they've been the best guys around at the time. As high or maybe a little more than the Beatles. They sound so cold, so deep, so inventive and placid. I don't think the world realised how big it is yet.

  • Tis a classic 60's b-side, svelt and suave. Colin nailed it. Nothing like it before or since.

  • colin is so fine....

  • Ah, the harmonies are so satisfying

  • Awesome song. Makes me happy & want to play it on my uke! Try, anyway.

    :-)

  • Always been my favorite Zombie's song...Thanks.

  • this song is so sik, the zombies are fucken awesome

  • I'm here because Jon favorited this to

  • Wow jonlajoie favorited this video! The Zombies are a great band, never would have guessed that LaJoie had such good taste in music ^_^

  • @TMROY3 aha I say Lajoie liking this one two :)

  • Classic!

  • now i know what is jon lajoie's humor

  • vote plus if you hate the new youtube layout

  • @PaulPower99 this comment being rated with 55 thumbs up made me realize that the top rated comments show up at the top of the screen, so now it's like my favorite thing

  • @PaulPower99 i love the new layout

  • the chord progression is similar to the one heard in lithium by nirvana. especially the C-E step. the voice is somewhat similar too. nonetheless - both songs rock! : )

  • Im only here because Jon Lajoie favorited this thing. Why do all these people hear nirvana through it? Poeple are CRAZY! This sounds like the beatles

  • @PlatypusGuitar

I'm here because Jon favorited this too, and yes you're right it sounds like The Beatles only it's not as good as the beatles songs.

    nice song though

  • @salehzinho Personally, I think this is better than The Beatles, despite really resembling their work.

  • @PlatypusGuitar Yepp I agree with you!! its like The Beatles

  • this song is awesome and i think kurt cobain from nirvana stole it

  • hmm.. explain

  • the reson i say that is because of the begining, it sounds a lot like a lot of the begining of nirvana songs off thier nevermind cd

also, going into the realms of insanity, i had a dream in which harry potter told me, and who am i to argue with harry potter

  • @lowaces Is it not 'About A Girl' from Nirvana's 'Bleach' album that reminds you of this?

  • I would actually have to listent to Nevermind to get the right song titles, Kurt Cobain wasn't to bright when it came to naming songs, but i don't have Nevermind, right now, i only have Incesticide, and i'm kind of busy watching Bugs Bunny cartoons in High Def !

  • There are two or three notes at the start that sound kinda like Polly, but I think this is accidental.

Great bands sometimes think alike, and I think that is the case here with The Zombies and Nirvana.

  • no i don't think it was the polly song, but then again my memory isn't what it use to be, id have to listen to nevermind to be sure

i have the zombie heavan box set and its awesome

    sweet zombie jesus

good news everyone june 2010 season six !

  • Lithium maybe. Lol I'm determined now. There are a few notes that are similar Im certain, and I'll find that song.

  • if you find it let me know

or is that when you find it let me know

  • 10/10 !

  • Yes!! One of my all-time favorites. I don't know why this wasn't a mega hit for the Zombies. Clever writing and a great hook!! Thanks!

  • anime randagie dove siete ancora x la strada gratis a cercare ma che cercate gli altri sono in casa a realizzarsi

  • This is my FAVORITE Zombies song! Puts me in a good mood every time I hear it! is there any live video of them singing this?

  • Irresistible melody, lovely singing.

And don't miss the fine French cover:

Les Sultans - Je t'aime bien

    also on Youtube.

  • just played this tune on breakfast with the beatles on the underground garage. very beatle sounding but still the haunting and jazz tinted unmistakable sound of the Zombies. What a great and underrated british invasion band. I was hoping to see some vintage live footage of them on you tube but cannot find any.

  • I love this song. I think it's the flip of She's Not There, isn't it?

  • Just heard this song for the first time on Sirius "Underground garage" tonight. So good.

  • the rithin is killer ans softly and the lyrics are just awesome

  • Wow! Miss this so much!

  • One of MY Personal Favorites , by the Zombies !!!

  • Have not heard the song in 40 years. Gotta love YouTube.

  • bel video .........xdxdxdxd...molto originale xdxdxd

  • :D totally good feeling

  • The Zombies are sounding so good here; is "She's Not There" on the other side? It's the b-side on the U.S. Parrot single. This song was also recorded by the Buckinghams (the b-side of "Kind of a Drag"; a nice version, but can't top the Zombies).

  • such a good touch with showing the record player, the zombies were great. I agree with nhbright this sounds like the beatles, what was so great about the zombies is some of their songs were ahead of their time. thankx for posting :)

  • love it

  • Tops.

  • All my 45's have skips. Kind of sounds like Beatles music. Sounds like an acoustic guitar. Cute.
