age does not make you gain as much weight as she gained. Yes, your metabolism can slow down, but it can also be prevented through exersize and healthy diet. She was obviously doing neither. I don't think she would be forgotten if she lost weight - the attention she has gotten for her obesity has been quite negative.

Kirstie is, was, and will always be one of the most beautiful actors of all time. Who cares if she was heavy? I don't know her, or what her life is about. But I do know we all go through some hard times, and people just handle things differently. I'm glad to see her back on tv again.
