Also indicative of the despair of the quisling forces is their having to form a "united" slate on the ballot. Not pointing this out is a major failure of the report, which claims that "Tadic's party" claimed victory, as is the fact that the coalition of the former prime minister had abandoned the quisling coalition.

On the technical and legal sides, this election did not go by with serious doubts about the process, especially the dramatic drop in Radical votes.

In a repeat of the presidential campaign, the quisling forces in Serbia again resorted to fear mongering about the 90s, sanctions, isolation, and the politics of Slobodan Milosevic (see the post of "Serb" monterone308 below as a typical example). Only moments after the election, however, they revealed their willingness to forge a coalition with Milosevic's SPS in a desperate attempt to retain power. Not that this is new, the quisling have been in coalition with the "90s party" for years.
