  • This movie is the worst film ever. Only drug heads would think it was Fantastic.

  • @Trekfreek So I assume you took a survey of people who loved this movie and were drug heads. Last I checked, the results were less than stellar.

It must be so nice to be the only one who believes that you are right all the time, despite the fact that others with equal or better knowledge and understanding of Star Trek can easily say otherwise.

I do not hate you, I pity you.

  • the Vulcan baby is cute that's the only good thing I can say about this movie

  • Whats up with the agressive "THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED!!!" Hahaha!

  • 0.47

    chris pine's shia labeouf impression

  • They show this in front of Monsters vs. Aliens

  • i loved this movie so much :3

  • I would like it if Empire had the cold laser system because with nice selection of Star Trek music playing with the neon lighting changing colour, wow colour, the colour was wicked. Well the colour at the Empire is always wicked.

  • Warp speed sound effects felt like someone taking hammer to my chest with mild tap on the chest that jolted me back in plump plush pucker red rocker seats! So now I know what the soundtrack felt like its going to be my new benchmark on DVD when it comes out later in the year.

  • Second performance or third as it was screened at midnight that same day May 7th! It was wicked and beyond only wished I had more money because I would have paid to see it third time on the biggest 56KW JBL THX sound system!

  • The presentation was 10/10 digital razor sharp crystal clear high definition. Sound again is top of its class over the rest of the cinemas in Leicester Square with near on 120dbc when Vulcan collapsed into black hole. Saw it twice once front and centre row and it was magic, just untouchable, not even a $6million dollar basement home theatre could touch the power and the glory of the Empire!

  • great movie like it so much

  • Okay, wtf is up with IntermittentSprocket?

    and Spock! EE! <3

  • I know it keeps me sharp on the edge where I need to be. Only a day and bit away now till the warp factor 56KW JBL THX sound system is unleashed! The most powerful THX sound system in the world! I like this 56KW its exciting! LOL

  • Hello. What time was you at the EMPIRE on Sunday October 8th 1989 and where you sat in the auditorium?

  • Captain Pike narration sounds wicked its got deep low end feel on the JBL 4645 that is playing in sw-re-mix mode on the AVR Kenwood KRF-X9050D THX select. In discrete mode its switched off to play only the LFE.1 track. I like this trailer its exciting. Music has deep low end that goes up and down the spectrum nicely with continuous pulse beat, the odd few slams rise higher on the Alesis RA300 for the sub, well below clip.

  • your completly insane

  • You can settle for less than ordinary substandard cinema.

You feel like you went for something better.

    Something special.

The question you face is which cinema will you chose?

Well I know which chose Ive made captain Pike.

EMPIRE JBL 56KW THX ON MAY 7th first performance!

  • IMAX at best is only 10KW to 12KW and Ive seen many IMAX films in my home town, and they didnt come near to the hard slam of the EMPIRE in the past that was until EMPIRE spent £250.000 grand on state of the art new JBL THX sound system that goes beyond its original. Reverberation has also been lowered with extra treatment on the walls. If you want to see hear and feel STAR TREK on a professional level over home cinema/theatre EMPIRE is the place to be on MAY 7th!

  • The surrounds in the lower stalls is BAD NEWS! Sub bass is just pitiful! If you want WICKED sub bass in Leicester Square EMPIRE will go down LOW and DEEP! and PURE! Ive seen the Star Trek marathon Day on Sunday, October 1989 for £10.00 pounds and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD with original JBL 13KW THX! I mean BASS and SUB BASS was HARD HITTING and PURE DEEP TONE RUMBLE!

  • OMG!! I was there at the empire in 89 too. What a day that was.

  • So always check press for details, the last thing you want is to pay those robbing croacks at the Odeon for the worst image, its bowed bent looking! The stereo is far too narrow and the stage is distracting when sat in the lower stalls. Worse if in the circle. The surrounds in the circle arent too bad but why compromise over screen stage channels.

  • Its been a bit of mess in Leicester Square with (seating capacity politics) Indiana Jones ended up at the crappy Odeon Leicester Square screen 6, god knows how bad it must have looked and sounded! BATMAN Dark Knight also ended up at Odeon screen 6, when it should have played at VUE across the road in one of the two THX screens! sigh

  • Hmm, IronMan played in EMPIRE screen 1 JBL 56KW THX sound system, I was certain it was in the smaller screens and played exclusively at the worst cinema Odeon Leicester Square screen 6, as I was up at London at the time to see The X-Files I want to Believe in JBL 56KW THX! I recall it was in the smaller screens.

  • i like this ship its exciting

Only 18 days now till STAR TREK plays at the EMPIRE Leicester Square, London on the most powerful THX sound system JBL 56KW May 7th 56KW JBL THX i'll be there for the worlds only 56KW JBL THX Experience!

  • I love that theatre. I saw Iron Man there, really want to see Star Trek there but a bit too expensive to fly across the Atlantic to see a movie.

  • Boba Fett's Slave 1 spacecraft @ 0:49
