  • are the bellringers on the small organ playing randomly or in time with the music as it seems they are just playing when ever they feel like it and not with the music?

  • love this selection...sounds just lovely on the fairground organ. One of my favourite actors Ashley Artus has just finishsed touring with the new UK tour theatre production at the moment as Thenardier where he sings Master of the house which you can hear at 1:47 on the organ. Les Miserables is 25 years old this year and is now on tour in America.

Was this selection arranged/done for the 25th anniversary of the show I wonder?!?!?!? anyone know? Graham do you know?

  • @Poppinsuktour . No , the arrangment was done back in the late 90s in Holland but was given to me because of my love of the show.

  • @leach55 the show Les Miserables is incredible. Rob Barker who worked for Alan Pell has a relative who played the part of the Bishop in the latest UK tour. Small world.

  • Do you hear the people sing?

Singing a song of angry men?

It is the music of the people

Who will not be slaves again!

When the beating of your heart

Echoes the beating of the drums

There is a life about to start

    When tomorrow comes

  • Very nice organ! Bourdon is very nice, and a nice book. Thanks for the movie!

  • I liked the arrangement of Les Miserables,

Is the organ at the end Perle organ Graham?

    Ben

  • Ben,The"Little Windmill"was built by Fabian Krul with pipework by Pluer,it is 36 key.

  • Brillant!! Thank you so much for uploading.

  • Thanks very much,Graham.Brilliant arrangement and it included my favourite"Castle on a Cloud".See you at Dorset.

  • Peter.

That arrangment is stonking, i am suprised that the arrangment is not heard on other organs, maybe it will now?.

See you at Dorset by the admin toilets.....again

  • Thank you for uploading the arrangement that i am most proud of.

It was in the late 90s that i make this peace, it was made first on The Mussette organ in Rijswijk Holland.

    Thank you, thank you!!!

  • @leach55 sorry but I am not impressed with those bellringers. They need a bandmaster to tell them when to play and not when they want to and at the wrong time in the music.

  • @Poppinsuktour .The bellringers on the small organ are piped into the note C only. This is because they have no designated note of their own. I have to admit, they sound very random and i will be cutting a note out of each book to correct the problem. A VERY long process by hand though
