If you have every tried shooting a rifle it is very hard to hit your target (dont believe what you see in movies!), handguns are even more difficult!! Although I will say that letting an animal suffer is unacceptable the first few shots in this video are absolutely the product of human adrenaline. I will absolutely agree that once the animal is down the hunter must do the utmost to end its suffering.
Well you are entitled to your opinion however a well zeroed scope on a rifle and proper know how lead to a very good well placed shot. If a sniper can blast a hole into someone's chest over a mile away someone a few hundred yards at most(typically when hunting) is very easily done. That is not the case with these guys at damn near point blank range. He has 1 well placed shot that was horridly late. If I can group 2 inches at 10 yds with a handgun there is no excuse for his adrenaline
@Aaotrom As for your remark that humans are not meant to be hunters i must disagree, if you look at the time line of human evolution we have been hunter/gatherers for all but a fraction of our history. We are absolutely meant to be hunters! We still "hunt" to this day, although it seems more like agriculture; it is arguably still a form of hunting. We should go back to the good old days; only the strong survive. Trust me if this were the case you'd learn a thing or two from me :)
I agree with you that we have the intelligence and ability to hunt but that does not mean our purpose is to hunt. As I said its a choice. Taking a life for food is acceptable to an extent in my book but its not human nature its merely a choice. Look at India which is primarily vegetarian. 50 cal bullets are not 3" the brass is rather large but the actual round isn't. Bullets don't blow gigantic holes in in flesh they merely cause a great deal of shock wave damage inside. Somewhat like getting a sharpee pierced through and then having your insides beat with a sledge hammer as it exits. that's the best way I can explain it.

I agree with your statement about people being sentimental and then eating prepackaged meats. But this was ridiculous. it should have been one well placed shot to the brain. Instead he decided to unload a mag into the things body. But I have to disagree with humans meant to be hunters. Its a choice to kill, not a necessity or even human nature.

@Aaotrom I appreciate your well thought out comment. I must however disagree. If you have every tried shooting a rifle it is very hard to hit your target (dont believe what you see in movies!), handguns are even more difficult!! Although I will say that letting an animal suffer is unacceptable the first few shots in this video are absolutely the product of human adrenaline. I will absolutely agree that once the animal is down the hunter must do the utmost to end its suffering.

Well you are entitled to your opinion however a well zeroed scope on a rifle and proper know how lead to a very good well placed shot. If a sniper can blast a hole into someone's chest over a mile away someone a few hundred yards at most(typically when hunting) is very easily done. That is not the case with these guys at damn near point blank range. He has 1 well placed shot that was horridly late. If I can group 2 inches at 10 yds with a handgun there is no excuse for his adrenaline

@Aaotrom As for your remark that humans are not meant to be hunters i must disagree, if you look at the time line of human evolution we have been hunter/gatherers for all but a fraction of our history. We are absolutely meant to be hunters! We still "hunt" to this day, although it seems more like agriculture; it is arguably still a form of hunting. We should go back to the good old days; only the strong survive. Trust me if this were the case you'd learn a thing or two from me :)

I agree with you that we have the intelligence and ability to hunt but that does not mean our purpose is to hunt. As I said its a choice. Taking a life for food is acceptable to an extent in my book but its not human nature its merely a choice. Look at India which is primarily vegetarian. So are they not human because they choose to farm instead of hunt? My family have been hunting and farming for a very long time so there isn't much you could teach me that I don't know.
