This reporter should be fired. He's ruined 2 things, and I swear it was on purpose. He ruined the World Record Bubble attempt, and he blatantly destroyed someone else's work of art just for a laugh. Idiots like him should be kicked to the curb without warning. That man spent hours on that sculpture, just for this moron to screw it up entirely ON PURPOSE. Bad reporter. No Bonus.
Get a load of Ed, his fellow lame-assed idiot reporter-"Aaahh, accidents are gonna happen once in a while!" Yeah-especially around you dickhead egotistical tv reporters!
In all honesty, you're asking for something like this to happen if you have a delicate object in public view, even if the reporter had not caused it, it would have happened eventually. But yes, he is an idiot for even wanting to touch it with his hands due to the warmth) but the sculptor also played a part of idiocy by allowing the reporter to have full control when he let go of his sculpture a split second before it toppled.
@reckneya Yeh, I actually realized that after searching around on the internet recently lol. In the other video though, both his more sincere apology and demeanor make the video seem more genuine. But yeh, well played on his part, I had a good laugh.
you can tell it's fake and staged. A real ice sculpture that had been working on a prized piece all day would not have it sitting on the hot pavement melting. They would be carving it inside of the controlled temperature building. Also, they won't let you touch the piece....even if you are a reporter.
@postmaam He was working on it fresh from a freezer outside for festivity reasons. And he didn't have time to repel the reporter, because it fell over the instant he touched it.
Wow, talk about bad PR management..saying that this was staged makes you look completely ridiculous and without ANY credibility. Maybe not so good for a news station....
How could only the photographer be in on the stunt? If the artist was not in on the stunt, and Nazar destroyed a sculpture that was eight hours of work, that's just vandalism and being a jackass. Are you people out of your minds? Idiots.
FAKE, take a look @ 1:58 the sculpter took his hand from the back of the sculpture and he could've save it from falling, he felt it goin' back, and left it to fall.
@SaudiAhmad If you look closely he was actually moving his hand to where his other hand was to do something or other sculpture-ish before the sculpture was about to fall....and we already know it's fake, dumbass. read the description.
Yeah right. "Management" went into damage control. paid a few dollars & now the sculptor gets some air play in a future news feature... If it were staged, footage of behind the scenes would have been out already instead of this lame response by KOCETV that came way late, once the original went viral.
@MKM7741 its clearly staged. The reporter stands up in a few seconds and puts the microphone straight into the sculpters face and clearly wasnt phased by it at all. He also pushes it over not just put his hand on it. And he says "oh oh my god" before its fallen over and doesnt really do anything to stop it falling.
the carver let it go on perpus
