  • Wil's version of this song makes me happy! Very nice.

  • Yee-haw!

  • Talk about genre bashing. Wil Maring is the consumate musician. She makes a song her own and, as far as I can see, does it with class and style. I'm very surprised she is not more "mainstream" because she has it all, in the way that, say, Vince Gill has it all - vocals, skill on a variety of instruments, stage presence, movie star good looks - you name it, she's got it. She's great!

  • I absolutely love Wil Manring, and Robert Bowlin and Brad Davis.......Wil cooks on this song. No comparisons.....I like Wil, I like Griffith but I listen to Wil more often......

  • I want Wil and Robert on the main stage at the Strawberry Music Festival

  • great music! 5*****

  • Excellent. I've just discovered this duo, and am immediately a fan. Excellent, clever arrangement.

  • After nearly a year, I thought there would have been more comments after mine. I listen to it pretty often.

  • Nope. The song was written by Will Jennings (frequent co-writer of the late Roy Orbison, Rodney Crowell) and Steve Winwood. Zevon had no hand in the writing of this song..

  • Just beautiful Wil

    I love it

  • I thought this would have nothing on Winwood's original version, but I was wrong. It's a nice cover that brought a smile to my face.

  • Love this version of this song....everything I've found on YouTube by Wil Maring is just magic

  • thats just great!) amazing voice..

  • Revitalizing rendition of Winwood's mandolin inspired classic, that...pardon my opinion, plays better through Wils pipes.

  • Yhis is a rally beautiful version of this tune.

  • amazing !

  • i'm truly a new fan of wil. i only heard the first song " keeper of the farm"just the other day and i can't stop looking up all her posts and songs at you tube & my space... tks for sharing your songs!her song arkansas traveller with the guitar tuned like a banjo on capo IV was so rich in open chords, I had to learn it! bravo, bravo, bravo!

  • Very nice, second only to Warren Zevon as a cover of this wonderful Winwood original.

  • agreed to that!

  • Zing!!

  • Wow! This is so cool! I always liked Steve Winwood's stuff and this just makes it all that much better. Fantastic job on this one. Thanks!

  • What have I been missing, and you're in town tonight! I can't attend (I sent four friends), so I'm listening here instead. Sorry to miss you in person. Patsy Cline finally has a contestant for first place. Come back to Santa Cruz CA soon so I can witness the in-person!

  • Damn thats fine. Come to Charlottesville

  • wow, easy on the ears and eyes :) Very nice.

  • What a great song, and great singing too W.M. It is also wonderful and ironic that this song was sort of like Stevie's 'come-back' song from the heady fame of the 60's, so it is great to see song perpetuated this way. Thanks for including it,

  • Hi Wil: I love this song. It's always been one of my very favs. Good job.
