I don't see how engine oil would get past the piston at all ? I don't know about this but MAYBE it is time for a new piston and rings ..That is usually the cause of oil getting past the piston , But getting oil through the carb and to the filter is very weird...

I have one and I agree, smooth throttle is as important on any bike. Just try riding trials.
