  • great compilation!

  • what a gye! a candy

  • James Dean was a style icon and had carried himself so well, but saying this acting is great is over rating this performance to be honest.

  • hAD TO MaKE THE PIlGRIMAGE TO fAIRMoUNT iNDdIAnA TOO SEE jAMES dEANS Life ~~~

  • James was great, second only to Elvis. Happy 77th Birthday King

  • River Phoenix is James Dean reincarnated!!!! They were both amazing :)

  • AMAZING IDOL HE SHOULD LIVE IMMORTALITY

  • Brilliant!

  • He's Amazing! One of the best actors in the world!!

But that music is off topic!

  • Damn that was like a Steven Seagal take down.

  • i won't go see this new jd biopic..the guy playing him looks gay and also looks nothing like james dean..this movie is just a way for warner to make money on actor thats been dead over 50years...only idiots that will go see it are gay people..its knot a james dean biopic its a gay movie about james preston more then james dean..

  • There're no words. <3

  • My film teacher told my class that after Rebel without a cause came out,and guys saw the scenes of James Dean in the white t-shirt,she said that white t shirt sales went through the roof.

  • what is it with the gay rumours? you don't out ppl on their behalf.

  • @harliette rumors? Well...He said himself that "I'm not a homosexual but I don't want to live my life with one hand tied behind my back" Sounds like bisexual to me. I suppose the rumors concern people that he "convinced" to work with him. And I believe his close friend, William Bast, had something to say about the matter. Go figure.

  • wtf,,,there is nobody like JD, he will stay unique for ever!

  • oh god... i just wanna shoot myself now...coz i don;t want to live on a planet where people compare james dean to robert pattinson...i mean seriously guyzz...

  • @Leobolt23 haha yeah totally!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I think being 100% honest, his acting was sometimes a little hit and miss, but when he was good, he was really good. I adore this man, call me vain, but he is a charm to look at.

  • I don´t want to offend Dean x Pattison comparison , but I´d rather compare James Dean with Heath Ledger

  • @LascoDePasco Pattinson compared to Dean??? Who the hell said that? I can totally the Heath Ledger thing though.

  • YOU'RE TEARING ME APAART!!

  • jamesdeanforever....

  • so good looking for someone back in that day.

  • It's so sad that he's gone. He had so much promise...

  • best james dean impression by jim cerry

  • does he remind anyone else of Benicio del Toro?

  • Nobody compares to James Dean!!!!

  • @marissaluvsjamesdean Jim Carrey.

  • The best there ever was!

  • James Dean was sooo HOT!!

  • They cast James Franco well!

  • He has a perfect face... but his body is weird when he has his shirt off. Eww

  • 4:34 he is soo beautiful <3 !

  • I love when he says Happy Easter. <3

  • The brightest flames burn the quickest

  • @MegaVids100 very often, but not always!

  • @MegaVids100 what about the sun

  • @MegaVids100 could you have made a more cliche statement?

  • Comment removed

  • I watched this on Easter and when he said "Happy Easter, happy Easter" I was like " :O "

  • R.I.P. James Dean. Life was way too short for this man. He was so talented, and never will their be another like him!

  • There will never be another James Dean. No one can top his expressions and emotions.

  • Jimmy,I will never forget you....You will be always on my mind.....

  • Its Sept. 30--and that means it is the anniversary of Mr. Dean's premature death. We continue to mourn the passing of this great artist after all these many years--I know no other famous person that people continue to honor in this way. I ask Dean fans to light a candle in this great man's memory this coming evening and say a few words of thanks to his great talent. As an actor James is my shining light.

  • @QueenJackson4EVER The piece is sung by Cecilia Bartoli written by Vivaldi... "Sposa son desprezzata"

  • @KleWdSide I don't think you can compare the two, Gerard is super hot, but, to me, a grown and matured man. Dean was just growing into his manhood.. if that makes sense. The sheer perfection of Dean's facial geometry is hard to beat, though.. :o) xoxo

  • He would be perfect...if he had a body to match his face lol

  • @JokinglySerious LOL! He wasn't known for doing 'beefcake'... ;o)

All I can say is, I love him the way he was...

  • @sublime1marilyn I know, but his face and a marlon brando physique...if I met him I would have jumped him LOL

  • @JokinglySerious What is wrong with it?

  • Incredibly wooden over-acting.

  • @ManOnTheMoon2 youre a twat tbh.

  • @ManOnTheMoon2 He's not for everyone... just wondering why you watch him if you don't like his work?

  • Bruce lee, you know?

  • Robert Pattison , who is that guy?????

  • whats your cause? not sniffing jackets?

  • @ThePremiumGoods I have no idea what you're talking about?!

  • @sublime1marilyn look up "Acting with James Franco Pt 3"

  • @sublime1marilyn look up "Acting with James Franco Pt 3"

  • @ThePremiumGoods ROTFLMAO!!!! Thanks! That's hilarious!!!! xD

  • First of all. Love your channel and subscribed immediately. Second I'd love to know the piece of opera playing in the 'Rebel Without a Cause' compilation. Thanks so much.

  • @TheKhaibear Thanks Khaibear! The piece is sung by Cecilia Bartoli

and it's written by Vivaldi... "Sposa son desprezzata" :o) xoxox

  • i have such a huge obsession and fascination towards james (which only recently begun) i respect him so much for being individual unlike most kids today, who have no depth at all.

james had a deep insight towards the world we live in (i can certainly relate)...it's a shame that's a rarity today.

i damn that porsche spyder to hell! it was most definitely cursed.

  • @Cla900 I have a feeling that plenty of today's kids feel alienated & have struggled greatly too. Dean was in his 20's by the time his starring roles came out. Let's give the new generations a chance... His was a different era, for sure. It's very sad that Dean never had a chance to fully realize his potential as a person and an artist! I agree with you about the Porsche. But he HAD to have it.. He was obsessed with possessing it. It got HIM in the end. :*(. Cursed, indeed!

  • I have 14, and i'm in love with a dead guy, James Dean :(

  • @magicindi I love him too, dear! Just remember, there are so many talented, wonderful, sweet, and interesting boys out there. Keep your eyes and mind open, and always expect/demand to be treated with respect and dignity. YOU are loveable! xoxo <3 :o)

  • never saw hwy this movie is supposed to be such a big deal

  • @MsOrlandos The first time I saw it when I was a teenager I felt the same. As an adult (and having learned so much about the era & acting in general) I came to really appreciate the story as well as the acting. Not everyone will find an emotional connection to the film... give it a go again in a few years, you might change your mind. Thanks for the comment though! :o)

  • James did such an amazing job. Watching this made me feel a lot for Dean as well as Jim Stark. When many people think of Dean, they see him as a rebel. While yes, he did play "rebellious" characters, I see a more good hearted, yet misunderstood character, as in this film. I felt for him because he wanted to be accepted and do right. I can really relate to that, and when he found his new friends, he wasn't lonely. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to Dean in some way. He is definitely an icon.

  • I love how he used people he watched in the streets there expression and etc as a basis for ever scene

  • @KlayyJayy "The Method" hard at work?! ;o) thanks for the comment!

  • love it!

  • @freedencevia Thanks so much! :D xoxo

  • How can you compare Robert Pattison (not in the mood to ofense) to James Dean?

  • @ScarlettRoberts ? I didn't... who would do such a thing?!

  • I read it in a magazine... even in E! channel says that he is a combination of Marlon Brando and James Dean.... I mean he got the "bad child" look but...... the perfomance are so danm different!

  • @ScarlettRoberts ahhhh, I see. I have found that most all magazines are just full of b.s., their only intention is to sell magazines and thus generate money from advertisements. I never take that stuff seriously.. You're obviousness well aware that the epic icons of each century take decades to develop and solidify. I'll be truly surprised if Pattison ends up such an epic figure! ;o) Thanks for the comment! :o) xoxo

  • I want a James Dean. Not the silly dickheads there are today!

  • @ocrerose Oh god, don't we all...

  • @ocrerose LOL! I agree! I must say, though.. I think Johnny Depp is a very respectable and truly talented actor. He's a rare exception. He's always been more concerned about being challenged by the roles he takes, and shuns the spotlight, completely abandoned "Hollywood". Also.. consider De Niro, Walken, Nicholson, etc. To find today's exceptional artists, look at the exceptional directors. Thanks for the comment! :o) (Like you, I DO wonder where all the YOUNGER true talent is, though... ?!)

  • @sublime1marilyn I agree that there are a few actors out there today that are truly talented e.g Benedict Cumberbatch etc. but they don't get the recognition they deserve. Or..the truly talented wouldn't want to enter Hollywood and all that, they'd prefer just to stick to Shakespeare!

  • I couldn't watch this entire video because I was crying so hard-he lived fast and died hard and was perfect.

  • @DeathOfAKnight True beauty sometimes equals pain! Isn't that something?! I wish there was so much more footage of him.... I have pretty much all there is, and it's just not enough. Did you see the other vid of him I uploaded? You might like it, it's shorter and has some candid footage of him in it.. Thanks for the comment! :o) xoxo

  • Jimmy made 3 films in his short life, and everyone of them is a classic..and his acting ability is evident in all of them.

  • @GSheppo92 So TRUE! Terribly sad that he died before most even all came out! He never even got to see the true fruits of his labor..

  • this is my grandmas fav

  • @Cookielover415 Grandma has FANTASTIC taste! lol ;o)

  • @KleWdSide hmm, that's a tough one… no.

  • 2:17

  • My mind was blown because I watched Rebel without a cause on Easter and he goes "Happy Easter, Happy Easter." :)

  • JAMES DEAN IS THE BEST AND NONE OF THE NEW HOLLYWOOD ACTORS WILL EVER BE LIKE HIM.JAMES DEAN WAS A REAL MAN,AND IT IS A SHAME TO COMPARE HIM WITH ROBERT PATTERSON THAT FLAT FACE.LOVE U JIMMY DEAN

  • @rebelDean550 the closest thing to James Dean in my opinion was Heath Ledger in the dark night

  • @wipers86 RIP Heath! He seemed quite lovely, and very talented.. :*(

    xoxo

  • @rebelDean550 Robert Patterson is actually a really good actor. You don't have to associate him with Twilight if you should have any right to be a critic. You should be smarter than that and look further. He did a phenomenal job in "water for elephants."

  • @KleWdSide

I don't think so. Butler looks dumb, Jimmy Dean was drop dead cute.

Not to mention the difference in talent.

  • WHAT A STORY, DEAN

  • happy easter. happy easter.

  • @beepollen1 It's a shame that he didn't. There's no telling how many more great performances we would have all gotten to see on the big screen. This man was simply incredible. I can watch him over and over again and still see something new. Brilliant actor without a doubt! Peace

  • I GOT THE BULLETS!!!

  • "well...well then thar now..." lol :)

  • @greeneyedbeauty0 LOL! That line always stuck out for me, too! ;o) I think it shows his sly humor...

  • My name is James Dean, and its the first time ive ever seen any of his work.Pretty good if you ask me.

  • James Franco reminds me of James Dean.

  • @McKenaMars I knew i wasnt the only one who thought that :)

  • @McKenaMars I like James Franco, too... I respect his work and his choice to challenge convention. He played Dean in a film about James' life... I don't really think they look much alike though. Just MHO.... :o)

  • what's the song? i want to know, please

  • @Balicious8 The piece is sung by Cecilia Bartoli written by Vivaldi... "Sposa son desprezzata"

  • You cut Dean asking Mineo why he did'nt take his jacket!! A very real moment. Still a great compilation. Thanks.

  • davvero fantastico

  • james dean is awesome

  • Best Actors Ever R.i.p JAMES LOVE U i am 15 years old and u are truly my real inspiration

  • can't fight the tears... this is amazing, wonderful, everlasting... thank you for such genius...

  • Ele era muito talentoso, amo este filme

  • Stubbs the zombie - Rebel without a pulse

James dean - Rebel without a Cause

  • lol when the officer took off his jacket my head screamed "RAPE"

  • @iceskater204498 LOL!!!! It WAS very dramatic, the way he (the cop) did that, wasn't it!

  • "I GOT THE BULLET'S...... LOOOK"

  • i thought to hear the sirenes.

  • This movie is fabulous. James Dean is completely unlike any other actor, before or after his time.

  • @supersweeper59 You are so right. James had more talent in his pinky than all the young actors of today. As a former Dean fan, i was totally obsessed by this man for awhile there--even went to his home town, wrote 60 page synopses of his movies. Now, as an actor, I can see his craft. Folks it is NOT easy to make it look easy. No one combined Dean's liquid handsomnes, his little boy quality, & dangerous undertow....M. Clift---close. My hats off to you James---you're my acting inspiration!!!

  • @windstorm1000 So true. I'm in high school and taking a great film studies class. J. David Slocum's book is a great analysis of him, especially the "Stark Performance" section. The whole concept of the unperformed self is just incredible. I mean he was as much James Dean in this film as he was Jim Stark.

  • cu

  • Happy Birthday James Dean 02/08/2011 Forever Young

  • @RalphAdriane i was confused there coz thats would be the 2nd of august to me coz im scottish we do the day/month/year = which actually makes more sence to be honest!

  • @kazzak1888 confused? Google is your friend :)

  • @RalphAdriane Ralph, I salute Mr. Dean with you and millions of others and wish him a belated Happy Birthday too. He's fabulous and a inspiration to millions of actors and movie goers after all these years (and will be long after today's stars are forgotten)--though he would probably disapprove being the shy person he was. Hats off to you, Jim--we love you.

  • Happy birthday James! <3

  • "Why didnt you take my jacket, kid?"

  • What a drama queen...

  • James Dean, Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp...Those three are my top three idols, and anyone watching this video or ANY of Dean's work can see why he is in that list. He was and still is a HUGE inspiration for actors today, and Johnny Depp has even drawn ideas from his work, as did Heath Ledger. He wasn't just ONE of the greats, he was THE great.

  • James was so great in this film but im dying the rest of the film soon . Love James Dean.

  • great video

  • james dean is such an amazing inspiring actor. My favorite movie from dean is "rebel without a cause".

  • 911, or 901, that's a mere Porsche vs Peugeot, they argued about that during the sixties, when the Porsche came later... true acting??? this was pain...

  • @Joke9972 There are many techniques and schools of thought regarding acting... true pain, perhaps, but his choice of technique required it. Method Acting...

  • i wish i was born 65 years ago, then i wouldve married him :P

  • I ve heard that he was used to take it in the pooper

  • @zeitgeist3 does it really matter whether he was gay or not?...... no, he was a great actor.

  • why did he have to get in a car accident?!):

i really was born in the wrong decade!

  • At 2:40 when James Dean starts banging the desk, he actually does for real! I read it in a biography. His hands were all bruiseed and he had to go for x-rays! James Dean was such a great actor. One of the best ever in my opinion. I love him.

  • yep convinced way better than brando!!

  • CHICKEN ? !

    TEN YEARS !

    DAD TELL HER,

    TEN YEARS!

    GOOD, GREAT, EXELENT !

    THANX

  • Gerard Butler or James Dean... who's better looking?

  • @KleWdSide

    James Dean.......no contest!!

  • @KleWdSide james dean!!!!

  • Does this film take place all within 24 hours?

  • YOU'RE TEARING ME APART!.........LISA!

  • holy shit his hand really swelled up when he punched the desk

  • he was a great actor and had such an awesome sense of humour!!!! I miss him so much... although he died before I was born. I wish he'd still been alive... <3

    we love you James!

  • 1:30 try doing that today and seeing what happens... and for better kicks try being black and attempting it... WHOa!

  • Way Ahead of his time. its amazing.... I look at the way he acts and its better then a lot of actors now. I love Him

  • So charming, so handsome, soooo gone. No man quite like James. I love him.

  • @ForgottenSoul700 he is never gone. just in another place.

  • best actor ever

  • 55 years ago today. In Mass, on this day no more text messaging while driving. While I'm sure not deliberate, it's a nice tribute to Jimmy's memory nonetheless.

  • 55 years since he died, but really, those who remember are keeping his spirit alive. He's a legend and keeping him in our hearts makes him immortal. Spread the word, remember the man, James Dean.

    9/30/1955- 9/30/2010

  • 55 years without James Dean.

    R.I.P

  • can someone tell me the name of the background opera music? its just perfect.

  • @Nutera1 Sorry it took me a while to get back to you...

    Vivaldi: Sposa son desprezzata

  • @sublime1marilyn thank u very much!

  • @Nutera1 that's the ride of the valkeries by wagner. James was listening to it and drinking red wine to get himself psyched up for the scene---it worked.

  • YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, LISA!

  • @shawnmalki Keep your STUPID YouTube comments in your pocket!

  • @shawnmalki... Ohh, Hi Mark!! hey jonny

  • WHAT A WASTE, A GREAT ACTOR GONE FOREVER HE COULD BE BETTER THAN PACINO BUT THE DESTINY IS CRUEL RIP JAMES DEAN :(

  • FUUUUCK! his acting just takes my breath away... it is not just acting, he's involving his emotions and feelings towards the relationship with his father. Clearly you can see through his acting that he was desperately asking for love... you can also see this in "East of Eden"... he was and still is THE KING.

  • another hero

  • WHoa. James Dean was an AMAZING actor...

  • was James Dean smoking crack?

  • @realityeaters no, thats just his talent
