Why does chikara not have a world championship belt

@downwithkobe They have the Young Lions Cup for singles competition which is generally aimed at the younger guys like Player Dos, Vin Gerard and Equinox. CHIKARA is more focused on teams and tournaments though as it is heavily Lucha Libre influenced. That's why the Campeones de Parejas are such a focal point of shows and tournaments like Rey de Volardes and Cibernetico are massive accomplishments and not midcard wins like King of the Ring is in WWE.

That and they have Tag titles and this lets them focus on tag matches more anyway.

Also it made sense for King to win via roll up. Putting Eddie over Claudio clean would of made Claudio look weaker, yet it helped to build up his Rudo turn as a brawler like King beating him with a technical move like a Oklahoma Roll would of embrassed him extremely and built it into anger.

Finish sucked, Claudio gave him 2 finishers and lost. Compared to NOAH for example, after 2 finishers, the third one makes the win.

BTW, Claudio gets more and more bald, reminds me of Alex Wright now.

lol yea cause thats how it works out everytime. They make sure to follow that exact formula. Anyways I'd hardly call Claudios Bicycle Kick or water slide his "finsher". His finishers are the Riccola Bomb he tried to hit and I'd probably call the pop up Europeon one as well. I thought the finish was good seeing as how nobody really expected Kingston to win by outwrestling him.

The ending to the King/Castagnoli was rather stupid, IMO. I think a Backfist would have been a much better end then a roll up.
