This isn't the way I remember it... The script was different and the characters had different names. For example, "Dr Elefun" was known as "Professor Peabody" in the episodes I remember as a child.

This isn't the same as I remember it from when I was a kid... The voices were quite different.  Dr. Elefun's name was Professor Peabody. Kenneth (the class president) was Christopher. etc etc etc...

These episodes are great. But the 1960's version have better voice acting for astroboy and the Dr. They also make more since. The only reason I know these episodes exist is because of Adult Swim. Ftw =)

There are few date related things wrong with it though, if the series took place in 2030 then why did those boys say the wolf died out over 100 years ago, there are still wolves around today o_o

Remember, the show was made in the 1980's and the populations of wolves at least in the U.S were actually at the point of extinction until conservation organizations started conserving their populations. That's why there are still wolf populations today.
