look at bhop - 45 years old and beating pavlik! 14year differnce between 31 and 45, if duddy sticks around long enough and learns to box smart instead of merely brawl, like pacquiao and bhop did eventually, he could do good things also.
the problem with Duddy is the quality of opposition he's facing, he's been fighting patsy 8 rounders, and not fighting world-class 10 rounders.
it's no wonder he's not taken seriously for the big-time yet, and there's no comparison between him and B-Hop.

you are never too old. although was already great, pac reinvented himself after the 2nd JMM fight, and took himself to a new level cause he knew he needs to work on boxing skill if he wants to advance.
look at bhop - 45 years old and beating pavlik! 14year differnce between 31 and 45, if duddy sticks around long enough and learns to box smart instead of merely brawl, like pacquiao and bhop did eventually, he could do good things also.

the problem with Duddy is the quality of opposition he's facing, he's been fighting patsy 8 rounders, and not fighting world-class 10 rounders.
it's no wonder he's not taken seriously for the big-time yet, and there's no comparison between him and B-Hop.
Pavlik may seem overrated, but he's beaten some big-time opponents, although the loss to B-Hop is truly embarrassing (he was sick or whatever they say).
otherwise, I wish Duddy the best of all lucks.

the point is that duddy is still untested at top level and he was easy to hit against a b grade fighter.
some fighters, like delahoya, have granite chins and can get away with a poor defence, but IF duddy gets hit regularly against a guy like pavlik then it could be a short night.
everyone likes to see an aggressive fighter, but for every 10 arturo gatti's there's usually only one manny pacquiao that can get away with that sort of continued aggression against top flight competition.

I'm not so sure but your opinion is your own. It was actually Hopkins who floored Calzaghe and then only lost to him by a very tight Split decision. I do not dislike Duddy, I merely believe he has a long way to go before he gets in with a master boxer like either of the afore-mensioned Calzaghe or Hopkins.
