Had a 3,000 word essay that's worth 50% of my final coursework to hand in yesterday at noon. Needless to say I didn't fucking start it nor did I finish it. I decided to wait up till 5am to watch The Strokes live via Youtube. By the time I finally calmed down and went to bed it was past 8am. I regret nothing.

i missed the strokes for the bloody beetroots. but their live set was killer they ran 30 min over into axwells set and got kicked off by the stage manager. when the manager came to unplug the shit everyone threw bottles and glowsticks at him haha. woulda been nice to catch the strokes but i was stuck at the beetroots haha

Is This It, their first album is easily one of the greatest albums of the last 20 years, so i would start with that whole album. but Room on Fire, their 2nd, is just as amazing. shit, i would just listen to all 3 of their first albums back to back. nothing beats them live tho =)
