I LOVE Dragonlance, I have read all of these baring the none Weis and Hickman series, I refuse to read anything in the series that doesnt have atleast one of these writing, Instead I plan on going to the Chao war, then War of souls, then Dark Disciples...
Hell, I've been reading these since the late 80's. think some of them are out of print, but you can download nearly all of them P2P and many in mp3 format. It's not stealing because I would gladly loan you a book if I could. It's the same thing.
Don't listen to what the fantasy nerds say about the books after the Chronicles. There are only a few crappy short stories here and there, but that's expected.
You should totally read the war of souls... they're really good. I loved them! And the dark disciple trilogy which is sort of a continuation of the war of souls.
Like others are saying, read The War of Souls.... it's brilliant. I love reading DragonLance.

Read War of the Souls, The Amber books (don't know exactly what they're called), and the Taladas Triology. Those were my raves.
