@metalballs2010 All quality pieces of gear, sir. I changed out my cab though to some custom made ones that better fit the sound I'm trying to make... Megoliath was still rad though
@ukeleleboy97 I think that was the Malekko and the Holier Grail at the same time...? I can't even remember anymore it's been so long since I did this and some of my gear has changed so it's really anyone's guess.
@2oooiooo2 I'm technically in 3 bands right now. Huldra, my post-metal band; Visigoth, a metal band; and Living With Ghosts, a hard rock band. Then there's my ambient side project, Titan.
not to be mean, but i love that you changed out your old basses to these two! Theyre awesome! and btw. I'd wish yor rig was mine. its awesome! how much do you want for your cabinet? if its still on sale
@2oooiooo2 Ha, thanks. I actually just sold the Spector but I've still got the Warwicks, they just aren't the best for the music I'm playing at the moment. Or for heavy effects saturation for that matter. And the cab is still available, send me a message on youtube if you're interested.

You mentioned in the most recent pedal video that in one of your band's songs you use distortion and delay for an ambient effect. That would be awesome to demo and so would the Deep Blue+Cathedral stuff. Any ideas from previous songs you wrote would be appreciated.
Also, concerning the SWR Megoliath, how well does it handle low end? I'm talking REALLY low end, below-a-B-string-rattle-the-earth-low. Like G# BTBAM kind of stuff. The splittable channel for different effects is a fantastic idea.
@ThisSaturatedMind Yeah, I'm using the Aguilar AGRO and Line6 DL4 and it makes an interesting sound. I'll have to show you. Deep Blue + Cathedral is pretty, I'm especially happy with the setting on the Cathedral I have now.
As far as the Megoliath is concerned, it holds up just fine with G#. I'm actually a huge fan of BTBAM and that's how I tune my 5 (G#, C#, F#, B, E) and it's my favorite part of the song going down to the low G# and A notes.
That would be great. Is that music man in Drop D? Sounds fantastic. If you could demonstrate that G# that would be appreciated as I'm always looking for new tunings and hearing a demo will tell me whether that low of sound will just be mush. All these distortion pedals sound lush but the bass drive got kicked off the main board! Jeff Caxide uses it, as you know, and how he uses his gear is ear-orgasm. These videos are the best resource for bassists interested in being interesting.
@ThisSaturatedMind The Stingray is actually tuned to drop B in this video (B, F#, B, E). I know Caxide used the Bass Drive (and used it well), but I just liked the sounds I was getting from other dirt pedals so I actually got rid of my Bass Drive. Now my dirt pedals are: ProTone Buzzard, 80's ProCo Rat, Fulltone OCD, Way Huge Swollen Pickle, and a '75 Colorsound Tonebender. Definitely covers the bases as far as what I want to do, but that's just the sounds my ears like; always subjective though.
@WalkinHorror Thanks, I used the eq built into it to boost bass a bit and a little less of a treble boost, then backed the volume off just a touch to match the levels for other pedals in the chain.
My dream gears: MM Stingray or Sterling 4(H or HH), SWR Marcus Miller Preamp, SWR Amplite Power amp, & SWR megoliath

@2oooiooo2 I would if I could ever find one that I liked... they either don't sound right or don't feel right whenever I pick one up to play it.

@ukeleleboy97 I don't have the time to build an instrument at this particular point in my life... Too much going on.
