Man im not German, im Australian, but Germany IS fucking elite, they have well trained soldiers, their engineering really is second to none and there will to fight if the occasion calls for it really cannot ever be questioned. I've spoken to many friends that have been to Afghanistan and they really do respect the Germany training and engineering and only have good things to say about the soldiers. One of my mates reckons the best thing he has even seen is a panzer 2000 in action.

Die Bundeswehr die beste Armee der Welt? Sagt das mal einem Soldaten, der lacht euch aus! So schlecht und veraltet wie unsere Jungs in vielen Bereichen ausgerüstet sind! Es gibt zwar theoretisch gute Ausrüstung, aber kein Geld. Der Tiger ist noch für den Kalten Krieg konzipiert und kommt ohne Bordkanone, aber gegen die Talibanpanzer (?) ist er gut ausgerüstet. Der NH90 ist eine reine Katastrophe, hat beim Test das Gütesiegel "wenn möglich, anderen Helikopter benutzen" bekommen.

I think the American Military is getting to hightech that Maintaining it and all Maintnance is difficult. Russia always made stuff very simple and reliable . BUT i think the German Military has the perfect balance of Hightech gear but also rugged equipment to keep it moving forward without as much maintnace as the US military. If you ask me that goes alot futur than having new toys you have to repair after ever shot

As soon as we professionalize our army! Up to now germany has no real army - it is part of a greater compound, which made it a reliable branche of the NATO. In comparison to the french or english troops bundeswehr has to train their staff and has to invest billions in quantities of that high-tech-equipment. But: If we would like to - we could be the best army on this planet. Lets hope that we wont!

Man im not German, im Australian, but Germany IS fucking elite, they have well trained soldiers, their engineering really is second to none and there will to fight if the occasion calls for it really cannot ever be questioned. I've spoken to many friends that have been to Afghanistan and they really do respect the Germany training and engineering and only have good things to say about the soldiers. One of my mates reckons the best thing he has even seen is a panzer 2000 in action.

Die Bundeswehr die beste Armee der Welt? Sagt das mal einem Soldaten, der lacht euch aus! So schlecht und veraltet wie unsere Jungs in vielen Bereichen ausgerüstet sind! Es gibt zwar theoretisch gute Ausrüstung, aber kein Geld. Der Tiger ist noch für den Kalten Krieg konzipiert und kommt ohne Bordkanone, aber gegen die Talibanpanzer (?) ist er gut ausgerüstet. Der NH90 ist eine reine Katastrophe, hat beim Test das Gütesiegel "wenn möglich, anderen Helikopter benutzen" bekommen.

Well as you and I plainly see, it is not. The German real fantasy is that they are still the bloody Wehrmacht, able to wreak havoc on the world, but the truth of it is they have lost the will to do combat. They hide behind politics. @duertoadr Yeah, in Britain we had an Iranian family move to London, a women and seven kids, the husband left her 3 years before. The London council gave her a 2.5 million pound house in the same street as Hugh grant because the other houses weren't good enough for her, the rent is £12,500 a month and she gets £1500 a month to support her family. all at the British tax payers expense. what a disgrace.
