thanks for this rare gem by our beloved , divine lata ji . her voice sounds so sweet and girlish . this song used to be played on vividh bharti oldies and i always loved this song even as a school going kid , not knowing that it was a song from a 1948 film starring dev anand and kamini kaushal !

at the start of the song , the music gives a glimpse and reminds of the song aayega aanewala which makes you recognize the composer .

Excellent, beautiful, awesome etc. all the adjectives not sufficient to describe. At such a tender age she has presented a gem. Credit also due to Khemchand Prakash. The same combination has done wonder in the year to follow with that immortal song from Mahal.
