Tibetans have been treated as one of the special ethnic minorities in China which receive special benefits and privileges (affirmative action) over others. If Tibetans are truly capable, they need not continue to live a semi-nomadic, indigent life in the wild. Instead of reflecting on the sedating effect of their superstitious and dogmatic religious adherence, they are often too quick to blame others for their own backwardness.
I guess so, I guess some people want the Tibetans to go back to object poverty under a feudal theocracy where the only jobs are being a monk or a serf. I guess some people are stupid like that.
You forgot to mention that tens of thousands of military stationed there- the hundreds of prisons, the millions of migrants that are taking their jobs and land- and of course all the communist members who are making their lives a living hell.
Please don't judge things from the info u got from western media. Look at the other side of the coin. Life is not hell in Tibet for the former Tibetan slaves now living in Tibet.

Unlike you, I've been to tibet- many times and recently and the tibetans are slaves under the communist government, and their lives are much worse.
